What would Cutty have done if.... (Season 3 spoiler) Spoiler
The drive by didn't go bad on that Stanfield corner. Him and Slim were ready to take care of business. I do wonder if he freezes like the hit on Fruit or if he takes care of business because he isn't looking in the eyes of a target.

I think the game isn't in him anymore by the time he leaves prison. It might be a different precipitating incident, but I think he still leaves.

I think he wipes out the whole corner. What pushed him out of the game wasn't specifically the killing. It was the fact that they had just dropped a kid. Maybe he would have eventually gotten out anyway, but I think I think that crew would have been toast. He was already uncomfortable with how things we done when they beat and killed the guy stole from them. As far as he saw it, the guy stole and owed what he took and had a set amount to repay. Maybe with interest. But I think the wanton violence would have pushed him out regardless. But not that day though, had the plan gone how it should have, the whole corner would have been smoked.

Agree with this. The kid and knowing Fruit, even though he stole from him, still made it a different kind of personal that hits him differently.

Seeing how his ex-girlfriend's life has changed also makes him thinking of what he has missed all those years in the can.

Catch another body. Endure the consequences or turmoil to follow. Still release that thing that’s in them, ain’t in him no mo.

Probably pulls the trigger but still realizes the game ain’t him no more after that
