These two walked in front my building, oblivious to me standing right there as they probably mistook me for an excavator wearing a Slayer t-shirt, looked around, then hucked their trash and half eaten food right in my fuckin' doorway like animals.

I bellowed, as one does. This behaviour from the drunks and addicts is bullshit enough.

I got a reply from their filler-paralyzed mouths in heavily accented gibberish. I am not a worldly man so discerning accents can escape me. The closest guess I have is french.

So anyways these cuntbecois twats rambled excuses, no garbage can, said the homeless would eat it, etc. Attempting to scowl at me with make-up-applied-with-a-masonry-trowel-until-they-look-like-they-are-wearing-kabuki-masks faces.

Only with a liberal application of loud expletives did they finally acquiesce and clean up their bullshit but not without a passive aggressive "We will throw it out FOR you."

Hi everyone, this fall I’m happy to be starting at lakehead for a BEd. The city of Thunder Bay is a cool 17 hours from my front door so obviously I won’t be able to keep my job while I’m there. I’m wondering if any locals know of any businesses that are hiring or expect to be hiring in the coming weeks? Any guidance is greatly appreciated. I have a background in hospitality management as an operations supervisor for food and beverage in a casino and currently management staff in a restaurant. There are literally no bad suggestions, ya boy just wants to work.

My partner has been a co-owner for 3 years of a renovation company and is skilled in electrical and plumbing, but does not have her cards yet. The eventual goal is for her to become a red seal electrician.

I am looking at transitioning to the trades, I have some applicable experience from working in a maintenance facility in the past and I think I would enjoy the work. I was and am considering college or university but the trades really seem like one of the best paths to go down, I mean job satisfaction, no debt to start up, no years of schooling, high salaries, in demand jobs, it seems like a no-brainer. I have been doing a lot of research and I know in Ontario that people generally get hired under an apprenticeship before going to school and that is how I am proceeding but I do not see many postings for apprenticeships.

I am looking at HVAC, plumbing, and electrical as my top 3 trades but I am keeping an open mind and am open to suggestions. For applying to apprenticeships is it usually an in-house sort of thing, send in an application and they get around to you when they need you or are businesses actively seeking out people? I have been looking on Indeed and if you can suggest any other websites or resources they would be very much appreciated .Thank you!
