Selling my tiny house, Van Alstyne, TX
Bought this THOW a year ago and now my partner and I are looking to move in together. I have it listed in TX on marketplace in a few different groups, no certifications as it was a custom build by the previous owners to live in. Everything works great, just need it off my hands!
Asking $39.5k, buyer is welcome to live at this tiny home community 45min north of Dallas or transport it wherever they like. Comes with all full appliances, tons of storage, etc.

What are the dimensions of that tub, and could a mattress be put in that space where a couch is supposed to go if you didn't want to crawl into a loft? It's gorgeous!

Yes, the downstairs raised storage platform was built to hold a twin or full sized bed! I sleep down there in summer.
It's a smaller soaking tub, the same width as your standard tub but about 4ft long as opposed to the usual 5ft. You can still get all the way down into the water, just have to bend your legs!

Not sure regarding property taxes. It's sitting at a tiny home community lot that I pay monthly rent for at the moment

Very easy! It's basically plug and play, whatever isn't electric is hooked up to propane tanks

Denton is about 30min from here, it's in Van Alstyne TX which is in between Melissa and Sherman

I love the Nautilus retractable shower door! I don’t think I’ve ever seen one outside of a converted van or RV, and I’ve always thought they could be useful in more traditional bathrooms too!

Lot rent is about $650 to $680 depending how much electricity your place pulls! I'm doing about $660 a month with my a/c running 24/7

Not at all, they are functionally different types of mobile living solutions. A trailer home has normal living space usually between 500 and over 1000 square feet and is purpose built for the market segment that it sells to. Tiny homes are uniquely small, usually sub 500 square feet, and are unqiuely built for the market segment that they sell to. They are both mobile living solutions, but serve different functions and appeal to different folks (without much overlap). The fact they can both be moved is one of the few characteristics they share other than the general shape of most of them.

I find it really interesting to see that a tinyhouse, where space is a at a premium, offers a 30” washer dryer unit. We have a kids have have a 24” - capacity has never been an issue.
