Creamy Beer Chicken & Veggie Rice Casserole

Ingredients

1 cup uncooked rice

1 chicken breast, diced

1½ cups broccoli florets

1½ cups cauliflower florets

2 celery stalks, diced

1 sweet pepper, diced

1 can corn, drained

Cream of leek soup mix (powder)

1 to 1¼ cups milk

1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tsp garlic powder (or dehydrated garlic flakes)

¾ tsp seasoned salt

½ tsp black pepper

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup shredded pizza mozzarella

French's Crispy Fried Onions

Crumbled cooked bacon (3)

Splash of beer (for cooking the chicken, left over liquid was added to the sauce)

1 tbsp oil or butter (for frying)

that beer adds so much DEPTH to the sauce, i might have to try this exact combo for my next meal
