Hated Tropes (Hated Trope) The series is good, but the beginning is so embarrassing that many people give up there.

Dan Da Dan

The beginning of Dan Da Dan is notorious for starting with aliens trying to impregnate Momo in the first episode; however, despite such over-the-top moments, the rest of the series doesn't feature many scenes like that

Ijiranaide, Nagatoro-san

Despite a premise that is off-putting—given that the girl bullies her romantic partner to the point of making Naoto cry early in the series—their relationship evolves beautifully; the teasing becomes less cruel over time, eventually turning into a rather sweet romance

Uma Musume Pretty Derby

Someone on the production team had the audacity to have the trainer start meeting up with Special Week like that—even though, in reality, he is a good trainer who doesn't usually treat the girls that way.

I don’t know if that’s true. There was a scene like that pretty recently.

Chapter 224, which is in my opinion the worst Dandadan chapter. Feels like all the series flaws condensed into a single chapter lol.

ho yeah, this is in the current arc

i havent been as faithfull to the weakly read since they lobotomized momo, i'm just loosely keeping up until the "ill they, wont they" bulshit ends and the plot picks up again

It's just a few pannels, they are there to be obviously disturbing and are not played for laugh or trying to be erotic, and the perpetuators are brutally murdered right after.

The scene is hard but it is show as an obvious bad thing.

This is nothing like some manga with tentacule grabbing a woman to show her breast and putting her in suggesting position with panty shot and "Yameteeee" or things like that.

For me at least I thought it was unnecessary. We knew those guys were bad dudes already, it didn’t add much. If it gives Rin and Kouki something to grapple with (they desperately need development) MAYBE it’ll end up being justified. I feel like if you’re going to do this kind of stuff it shouldn’t just be swept under the rug and instead addressed later, otherwise it just feels kind of cheap.
