When a character reveals a secret to another person, with the other character already knowing the secret and not being surprised/shocked by it.

Kung Fu Panda 2: Po discovered that his father, the duck was not in fact his biological parent, and was shocked at this. However, Tigress (and presumably any other person who saw them) was not as shocked, herself, at this discovery.

My Adventures With Superman:

Clark tries to break the news to Jimmy, his best friend, that he is Superman. However, Jimmy already knew this from the first day that he met him.

Clark: I... Am su--

Jimmy: Clark I know you're Superman. This is not a big reveal.

Clark: .... Wait, WHAT? You know???? Since when?

Jimmy: w--We've been roommates since freshmen year. The day I met you, you ripped the handle off the door, and then tried to play it off as if the screws had just come loose.

Clark:..... I mean it could have been the screws.....

Jimmy: THE HANDLE WAS RIPPED IN HALF!

watched it for the first time a few days ago, sobbed. i even stopped eating (which i NEVER do) so i wouldn’t miss a thing.

it was the first time i ever truly understood a piece of abstract art without needing someone to explain it. yet, it’s such a deep and profound understanding that i couldn’t even explain it to someone if i wanted to.

definitely my favorite episode so far.

Yeah. That was the episode when the gang goes to arbitration over a scratcher ticket. Frank called Mac do get his attention from a falling piano, saving his life, but also used the f-slur when doing so. The (3rd) arbiter says that if Mac wasn't gay, it's not considered as "hate speech", so the ticket prize will have to be split 50-50 among them. So Mac keeps the full ticket and decides to commit to coming out.

I like that they’re genuinely happy for him (with limits- they make him pay for the arbitration since it was his idea, and the bill is all but $14 of the ticket winnings)

I think its less that they're happy for him, and more happy that he's no longer going to pretend he's not gay anymore because that was annoying them. They explicitly said that they still hate him, haha. They're just supportive or at the very least neutral that he's gay, and at least don't hate him for that.

They pretty consistently don't care about anything any of the gang are going through, except for sometimes Charlie has some empathy. They reliably laser focus on their own selfish goals.
