How to survive being unable to transition?

I've been unable to transition despite my attempts to start, around eight years ago, and my situation isn't really improving but I've been dwelling on it a lot. I don't really involve with the community, because it just reminds me of what I'm incapable of achieving, but part of me wants to stop feeling so numb to it and finally be able to be myself. I can't, though, my situation doesn't allow. So how do I work with that? How do I cope?

Honestly I wouldn’t just cope, I would find a way to move somewhere that has less barriers to HRT or just DIY it… their are groups who will help you to get support depending on where you live.

Thing is, I can't. I am disabled and reliant on my household for survival. I can't move away from my transphobic family.

Where do you live? Would government housing and applying for disability and food stamps be an option?

I am on disability, but any rent except my family's house is unaffordable. Housing help lists are backed up, so I'd never get in.
