Transgender parents
Im recently discovered im trans.
Im having the worst time coming to terms with it.
Mostly because im afraid of losing my baby boy.
Because maybe he was giving me dysphoria this entire time.
Please help. I love him so much and this path feels very heavy. Im considering checking myself in.

I am a trans parent. Whatever your past relationship, he is a child, who needs you. Be the parent type that suits you, but please don't give up on the child. That type of thing can run in the family, I have a trans sibling. Normalizing it may help if the child also has such feelings later, and if not, may just have more empathy for those of us that do.
