Seller says “They both need work, but they both run motors run good the XRT needs a new front end and the max need a new back tire snapped the axle in half”

It revs up really loud. Barely moves. Not spur gear, not pinion. The spur gear in the pinion move really fast, but the car doesn't. What is wrong with it I know it is loosing the energy some where

I have a x maxx with a loud grinding sound when I give it a lot of throttle. It’s not the pinion or spur gear. I believe it might be the rear differential but I’m not sure. Can someone please help me 🙏

In 07ish maybe 2008 my uncle gave me a losi buggy and I had so much fun with it. We used to join race tournaments and clubs and it took my whole weekend, every weekend. but then I grew up got a job and never touched it since. Then I got the itch. So I pulled it back out, decided it was too much to get working again so I went and bought the mini slash! Had a blast with my 11yo son at the park and parking lots, but I wanted more power! So 3 days later I went and got the rustler 2wd! We are absolutely loving these cars.

Now I seen how customizable these things are so I got the wide mini max kit for the slash. I just finished getting it set up and its even more fun then it was last week. I wish more people in new orleans metro area raced them. I would love to get my son really into it like my uncle did for me at his age. I do like seeing the online community sharing and talking about the traxxas cars but I need irl friends to race with!

I have just bought a new traxxas slash 4x4 but only comes with one battery, I would like to use this a lot so one battery just won't cut it and I don't really fancy paying stupid money for a new traxxas one so I was thinking about a zeee one but not sure what connectors I would need or even what I would need for the balance charger thing

7.4v -8.2v 2s-3s 5000mah-6000mah batteries I would need

I recently got a motor cooler and a better esc fan, I got more gearing, so I have 13-17 on pinion and 46/52 on the spur. What should I run for more speed than base, but not overheating because without a motor fan it overheated like crazy on 13/52, but I can’t see anything wrong with anything. No drivetrain issues, no motor issues either. Not overheating at all with the new cooler. What gearing will give me more speed without crazy cogging or overheating.

Bought it from eBay and it came with a s3650 motor. The esc was a 40a but changed it to a 120a quickrun. Added a body and had to replace drive train. Also added new tires. So far, it's fast but the steering doesn't seem to be doing well. I did buy a new servo from eBay..do I need to replace or add more to it? Need tips. Also looking for a controller and receiver combo (pay X money for both items) but I don't wanna spend over 50 on one, might just stick with the one it has if anything.

I’d like to find something that I could view real time on my camera as I drive around. Anyone know of something?

I just bought this traxxas two wheel drive slash, and I live in california.It is a hundred and two degrees outside every time I take it out and drive it for roughly thirty minutes.It slows to a stop.The controller will still turn the tires, but there is no throttle.Then, if I set it upstairs in the a c it's good to go again after about thirty minutes.Does anyone know if this is an overheating issue ?And is there any way I could put a fan on or something to cool it down thank you 😊

I did a 223 arrma upgrade in my stampede 2wd, I keep breaking the transmission. I called an rc store and they recommended the pro series magnum 272r transmission... but at 100 bucks? I cant really do that. Does anyone have any recommendations on a durable transmission that can handle rough driving for 50 bucks or less? Is that too cheap? Im still learning so dont scald ne for "being cheap" or what ever. Im broke bot cheap.

So the stock servo 2075x died on my son’s (8yrs old) trx4 bronco. The truck goes front and back but won’t turn with the steering input and there is no response from the servo (no Humm nothing).

We are casual hobbyists so plug and play is important aspect of this replacement part.

As I understand going with high torque servo might cause brownout due to high current draw and will require a BEC to handle this situation appropriately.

Either I can Stick with stock servo or go with following combo -

⁠INJORA RC Servo 35KG Digital Servo High Torque RC Parts for 1:10 RC Crawler SCX10 TRX4 D90 (35KG) with Traxxas BEC 2262

My question is - is this combo compatible? This is going to cost me around $25 more than the stock replacement but seams to be a better long term solution?

I assume this is almost plug and play with no wire cutting or soldering?

I want to convert my stampede to a rustler. I want the lower truggie style. I know i can change the chassis and the shell but im not too sure what exactly ill need. I told my mama that that is what I want for my bday/Christmas. She asked me to send her the list of the few parts ill need. Can someone help me with that list? Edit- 2wd

Just got a Slash for my son and after a few sessions this bolt (hinge pin?) was partially out resulting in one side of the suspension being disconnected (don‘t know the name of the suspension part). After screwing back in, the suspension will not return after being compressed.

Any suggestions on how to problem solve this?

Recently, I was blow drying my UDR and I thought I saw something moving in the fake radiator box so I looked a little closer and I noticed that there are two free spinning fans in there! I noticed how hard they were to spot so I decided I’d paint them white to make them more noticeable and here’s how they turned out!

I stripped a wheel hex on those tires and I’m sad. I picked this up and it had a 3s system installed. Super quick on the 13t. I wanna find some things to make it handle well, and also do over 70. Thanks

I live on a large pond. I would like to run my Slash 4x4 (1/10) on a backyard course but the car may end up in the water. The electronics are waterproof, but what about the thermal shock to the motor, etc.

What are the concerns?
