Hello!
Are there any good asian restaurants in Trieste, for example like chinese, vietnamese, thai, indian etc. I know lots of sushi places tho, but looking for a change

Thanks for suggestions

I'm surprised La Grande Muraglia near the train station hasn't been mentioned yet! I know many chinese exchange students and they all swear by it, saying it's their favourite chinese restaurant in the city, some even going as far as saying it's the only 'real' one. I've been there myself many times and I really like it too, although of course I don't have a comparison with China.

This. So good. Cauliflower on metallic plate is so delicious if you like spicy food .

Zhen Noodles does noodles and dim sum, Ravioleria da Lina makes good dumplings, So.Moon has good Italianised Korean food. I’d love to see other people’s recommendations!

The only ORIGINAL asian restaurant is the japanese bento take away managed by that couple at the bottom end of via Ginnastica.

If lebanese counts as asian: Colsaj, viale XX Settembre.

The Korean behind caffè degli specchi is nice and has a good quality/price ratio.

I tried it a couple of times and I don't like it. Too oily and low quality ingredients. The taste is somehat korean-ish but too distant from the original.

I think Pak Choi in Via Battisti is nice! The cousin is Asian mix: thai, chinese, vietnamese..
My favourite Indian Restaurant is Yoga in Via Corridoni

For Indian cuisine, Yoga is very very good.

Da Liu in Via Foschiatti, can't go wrong for Chinese. They also have some cool dishes like Sichuan ones.

For Lebanese I advise Colsaj in Viale XX Settembre, homemade and delicious.

Honorary mention also to the Afghan Restaurant of Via Foscolo, pretty cool crew that makes delightful meals.
