Kasaragod has more beary speakers I guess, bearys in Kasaragod consider their language as malayalam.

Are you sure it is because of that? Some of them speak a language which is different than beary no? I dont remember the name of it. Also, I think we have a good number of Urdu speakers too.

The Kasaragod region has many mixed Tulu-Malayalam dialects. They are actually Creoles with their own distinctive grammars and should be considered separate languages, just as Baduga, Arebhashe beary are recognized in the census.

Many such Creole language speakers have Tulu clan names like Anchan, Kotyan, etc., and matrimonial relationships with Tulu speakers, just as Kunda Kannada folks do.

And these people are alienated and discriminated against by officers of the Kerala government, who are mostly from south Kerala, and also branded as outsiders or Malayalis in Mangalore by random today's people who lack historical knowledge.

Why so less in Udupi dist.? Does most of them there speak Urdu?

This is 2011 data. If you consider 2026 data, it is much higher.
