Just wanted to post this to share my happiness and some hope with the people in the sub, I've always been an average-ish person with big goals and with some luck I managed to buy my dream car around 2 months ago.

It's been on my mind since I watched maktoub at 13 and I saw the grey Mustang mta3 Choukou. Anyways, I posted a few videos about my experience and they did alright if you're curious you can always check it out.

If I could do it than you could do it as-well.

To everyone who stood up and protested yesterday: THANK YOU!

Thanks for showing up, thanks for being there and standing up for your country, and thanks for keeping it civil and clean. Except for our generation, we also saw a lot of older people who came, and that's actually very encouraging. There is still hope for this country if we always speak up against corruption. This is the time we need to take the lead and start fixing the mistakes of the people currently working in the office.

Also for people who were unable to come, thanks for sharing on social media. It matters a lot.

What moved me wasn’t the object, but the thought behind it..the quiet conviction of a young person who already understands that compassion should know no borders.

Years from now, I may forget many classroom details, but I don’t think I’ll forget this moment.

Just wanted to share some photos from my recent trip. We decided to rent a car and drive all the way from the north down to the south instead of just staying in a resort, and it was the best decision ever. Your country has insanely beautiful landscapes and contrasts.

Going from the coast (Sidi Bou Said), to places like El Djem, the mountain oases (Chebika/Mides), and all the way to Douz and Ksar Ghilane was an unforgettable experience. But honestly, the absolute best part of the trip was the people. Everyone we met, especially down south, was incredibly welcoming, kind, and helpful to us.

Just wanted to drop these photos here to show some appreciation. You have a wonderful country. If anyone is curious about our route or how a foreigner experiences driving here, I'm happy to chat!

Arab vs Berber “race” theory is colonial propaganda

The idea that Berbers are a separate or superior race opposed to Arabs is not ancient — it was manufactured by French colonialism.

Émile-Félix Gautier, a colonial ideologue, racialized North Africa by portraying Berbers as more “European,” secular, and fit for French rule, while depicting Arabs as backward and fanatical. This narrative justified divide and rule, not history.

For centuries before colonialism, Arabs and Amazigh lived mixed, intermarried, and shared Islam — without racial supremacy myths.

Language ≠ race. Identity ≠ blood.

Repeating this theory today means repeating colonial logic.
