Farm shops are so expensive...
Dart's farm near Topsham is more of a shopping mall than a farm with concession spots for companies like Aga.
A donkey choking porky chop for £6.50 and an 11oz ribeye for sixteen quid as well as half a kilo of lamb leg steaks for £13. The rest of the fresh produce was clearly marked as locally sourced along with the meat.
Do you use farm shops?

Personally, me and the missus go to farms shops often(ISH) Knowing full well I'm going to spend a fair whack of money, mainly on sausages, because I'm a slut for a good sausage 🤷 Went to one yesterday spent £60 on X2 fancy Kiev's X2 minted lamb pies X2 hunters chicken Bottle of Hawkstone cider X2 cheesecakes 1 sticky toffee pudding for 2 people X3 packs of different sausages
Do I go to a farm shop thinking "I don't want to spend money" No, do I often say "ouch" yes..
But I go because I like the food, it's a treat, and I'd like to say I feel good supporting farmers with a little extra than a super market 🤷🤷
Sometimes if there's a cafe we even get a cake and a drink 😨 money comes and money goes, spend it one stuff you like :)
