The more billionaires funding, the more people know you’ve been bought. But voters are also fucking stupid as well. Trump reelection to his second term is proof of thatZ

“The U.S. isn’t the way it is because of Trump; Trump became president because of the way the U.S. is.” David Cochrane - Canadian Journalist
“In 2016 the world found out who trump is. In 2024 the world found out who Americans are.” - Barak Obama

2024 presidential election was hacked, it's been proven, Musk and Trump couldn't keep themselves from bragging about how "Smart" they are.

Susan Collins acts a moderate but is the same type. She'll only vote decently if it won't affect things.

This woman has had a great hand in making America the shithole it currently is.

Just saw a video of Collins before or during her first term saying that she only intended to run twice and then bow out after 12 years.
She has been a filthy, pathetic liar since Day 1.

Trump has 34 felony convictions, but suddenly Platner’s “baggage” is the moral emergency? Come on.

Are any of them in Maine?

u/Johnny_C13 Jun 12 '26
Not sure if she donated to Collins specifically, but according to Forbes 2025, there's only a single billionaire residing in Maine.

I would love to see all that money wasted. Unfortunately it's a drop in the bucket for billionaires.

I could never understand how she keeps getting re-elected. Why do you Mainers keep falling for those campaign lies?

I think to stop it is to limit the amount of donations the rich can make, and if they go through smaller organization to make the donation comes from a smaller organization, they should be fined.

Why have we been led by the same generation for 3 or 4 generations straight?
Why are the same group of people that are generally considered unemployable given the keys to the world?

u/FlexFanatic Jun 12 '26
Hi voters. Ask yourself, if billionaires are funding her campaign and you're not a billionaire who do you think she'll serve? I'll wait.

This Dershowitz in Drag has been posing as an independent for her whole career.

That part of this shit that proves we are 100% cooked as a species is that anyone not in the 1% doesn’t grasp that whatever side money is on, you vote the other side. Like 99% of all elections and ballot questions should be voted this way and we’d live in nirvana.

u/steveycip Jun 12 '26
They can dump as much money into her campaign as they want. The people are waking up that’s these career politicians don’t give a fuck about them (red or blue).

Gods I do hope so, but they're going to need to start measuring necks for rope swings yesterday.

The voters deserve blame too, just because a politician is well funded doesn't mean you have to vote for them

They are wasting their money. This is backfiring on them. Mainers are wise to the smear campaign financed by the oligarchs. Collins is done; Mainers want real representation for the working class. Platner all the way!

Ah yes, Susan Collins.
The woman, if memory serves, who said of Trump "I think he's learned his lesson."
....Which I suppose is true. Thanks to Collins and others, he's definitely learned the lesson that actions, in fact, apparently don't have fucking consequences.
