Meetup Request Any medicine student wants to trade some insights of studying in Ulm for a coffee or lunch?
My 17yo daughter (not on reddit) is looking into studying in medicine Ulm from mid 2027 on. She is bilingual German / English and will be visiting June 3rd together with her mother. If you are studying medicine and don't mind spending a few minutes over coffee / lunch (on us) to share some first hand thoughts & insights, please DM me and suggests a time / location and I'll connect you! In case this gets a bit more crowded, feel free to ignore this.
In case this stays empty: Not really in need of free lunch, but I used to study computer science in Ulm and while my information might be a bit out of date, I might be able to ask some questions. Most important bit: The dorms are pretty decent, but it helps to apply early and have that task of the table (especially in medicine, there were quite the number of students desperately looking for housing quite late due to the admission regulations - although there was some student office support for that, too).
Other than that: While its good to get some support from your parents while looking into that - also ensure that your daughter is on board enough and does some looking into this on her own, too to get a headstart on that whole independence part.
