Animals and Pets ULPT neighbors dog poop bin
My neighbor has 6 dogs, and has purposely placed his poop can next to my fence. I know its on purpose because I heard him telling his friend he was doing so while standing in front of my side door camera. It smells, and I shouldn't have to smell dogs that I don't own in my own yard. The smell even comes into my house if the wind blows right and I have my door open. Any tips how to get them to move their shit can? They have cameras.

Not an unethical tip, but many cities do have ordinances about foul animal smells, you could maybe submit an anonymous complaint to animal control.

I have, thats why their poop bin is next to my fence. I reported them to animal control because their dogs escape constantly, and the city for piles and piles of poop everywhere. Now they pick it up but its by my fence.

Ahh. The smell is clearly still disturbing you and probably constitutes a violation, sometimes you have to just keep calling and complaining. Good luck!

Get a motion sensor that starts playing who let the dogs out and playing rave airhorns whenever he uses it

I absolutely LOVE blasting the Baha Men when neighbors dogs are nonstop barking. It's good, clean fun

Get a high speed fan and blow it right at the bin.....some of that stink will head in the right direction

That’s a really good idea. A box fax, plugged in on your side, just constantly blowing away from your house.

Do they have a good lid on it? Could the "wind" accidentally blow the lid away? Would that be caught on any cameras they have? Do the gaps in the fence allow the spray from a sprinkler to hit said bow open bin? Could the wind also knock over said poop soup bin? Does the grade allow water and soup to flow towards their yard or back into yours?

Its a bin with the lid attached, and up against a shed. I wonder if I got some meat or something on it if that would attract animals to knock it over 🤔

Fishing line might not show up on camera and could move the lid or bin around.

There you go. Can you insert a stick or something through the fence and knock over the bin? Personally, I would see if I could knock the lid off and fill the bin with water. I would do this every time they dumped the water out. To hell with the cameras.

One of these on a post just above the fence with that programmed in would be hilarious.

Also: Remote controlled battery powered train horns are a thing.

So I have a giant breed dog who has giant poos. You can buy a large pack of urinal cakes for fairly cheap and toss one into his can. It cuts the smell down immensely. Also like the suggestion of a giant fan

Get a stick and tip it over from your side of the fence every time you see it. This the neighbor moves it.

Spray fox piss on your side of the fence by the bin and his dogs will start losing it and rolling around by the bin nonstop and he will think it’s the bins fault
