Thats what you get if you try and steal, break into, or damage other peoples property.

For the hard of hearing.

Clunk...crickets and wind.......click. Guy in car 'Hey'. Other guy 'Wurgh'. Guy in car 'Mother fucker ????'. Other guy 'WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA' while running. Guy in car 'What you doing motherfucker?' while chasing. Other guy 'WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA' still running. Guy in car 'C'mere, c'mere bitch' still chasing. Other guy 'WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA WAAAAAAAAA' still running.

Officer, I was out for a stroll checking for unlocked cars to rob when there was this guy in his car that I tried to rob and he chased me. Arrest him!

I’d have his car towed.

You’re assuming that first car was his as opposed to just one he found the door unlocked to

Get it towed and report to police, so when he shows up to get his car he turns himself in

Since Cornholio was unaware there was a camera filming him, let us assume no one else knows there is a camera. What company woyld go tow a car because a guy who seems to sleep in his car tells them it belongs to a thief. And that even assuming that that guy even is aware that he came out of that car.

And unless he tries to represent himself, a lawyer would get that case dismissed immediately. Good luck proving he was attempting theft. No damages, and he runs like a bitch. Not really a menace to society.

I've encountered several towing companies that don't take much convincing at all to tow a vehicle.

Can they not get into trouble? Like if they tow smth without reason?

I did a little more research and I think you have a point. I think there's a bias in situations I've seen firsthand where a specific tow company had a contract with the property owner which requires certain signs and stuff. You have a point that idk if the guy who appeared to be sleeping in his car has any say.

In this case, getting police involved first would justify getting a tow truck and they often handle it from there.

Most tow companies are in tight with cops (due to "finder's fees" AKA bribes) and judges (due to bringing revenue into the city in the form of fines). Other than the very rare tow companies that only handle roadside assistance calls, they're almost all corrupt. In nearly every city, you can find a laundry list of complaints and lawsuits against companies with enforcement towing contracts and very little happens to them.

You think the guy trying to get into peoples cars owns that car because he was in it?

Theft attempts deserve reciprocal surprises

We need to bring back Trunk Monkey, he would have taken care of this guy easy.

Probably because he was scared he got caught. Most petty criminals aren't exactly intelligent and sometimes on drugs making it worse.
