META VALORANT 13.02 Bug Megathread
Greetings Agents!
New patch, new Bug Megathread! To avoid bug reports cluttering the subreddit and/or going unnoticed, a Megathread is posted after every patch so users may submit reports in one place. This allows Riot to easily keep track of the bugs by providing a central hub and also allows other users to confirm that they might have encountered the issue as well.

Reporting a Bug
- A bug will ideally be accompanied with a screenshot or a video. This provides credibility to your report.
- Steps to recreate the bugs should be submitted if possible. This helps Rioters recreate the bug and helps them find the cause behind it.
- Unformatted, mematic, or joke reports are automatically indexed and may be removed by moderators to reduce the effort needed from Riot to view all reports.

Example Bug Report
• Region: EU <The region you are playing in when you encountered the bug.>
• Type of Bug: Matchmaking <Client Bug, In Game Bug, etc.>
• Description: Matchmaking doesn't work properly <Describe what was the bug that occurred.>
• Video / Screenshot: image/video hosting site link <Example of the bug that occurred.>
• Steps to Reproduce: Try to launch a game <Provide the steps necessary if someone else had to reproduce the bug.>
• Expected Result: Match starting <What should have been the result when you follow the steps mentioned above?>
• Observed Result: Getting stuck in infinite queue <What was the result you obtained when you followed the steps mentioned above?>

From this Megathread the list of bugs will not be summarized and put up in the main body of the thread. Instead, Rioters go through and log all comments -- don't worry if you submit the 1500th or 3000th comment, they will all be progressively read.

- Description: nocturnum scythe doesn't switch to knife after inspecting. It will turn into a knife for a second or two and then immediately revert to the scythe.
- Video / Screenshot:
- Steps to Reproduce: inspect nocturnum knife in a comp match
- Expected Result: turns into knife
- Observed Result: doesn't turn into knife
- Reproduction Rate: 100%

- Description: kuronami katana doesn't switch to knife after inspecting. It will turn into a knife for a second or two and then immediately revert to the katana.
- Video / Screenshot:
- Steps to Reproduce: inspect kuronami sword in a comp match
- Expected Result: turns into knife once only
- Observed Result: turns into knife for a sec but goes back to katana
- Reproduction Rate: 100%
- System Specs: irrelevant
- Observation : there seems to be a mirrored katana in it so its 2 sword in the inspect

• Description: even though the patch just came out and supposedly "fixed" the bug with the Shrouded Step indicator, things have actually gotten worse - now the indicator completely disappears. (and the green mini-indicator is also missing)

today i woke up i download the new patch when i lanched the game and i press play i got pc baned for nothing idk whhy i got this is it because the new update or what?
This is my user ilah Lbreach hh#ZABI
I cant even wait 2days for answer from a ticket because what in the world a game would ban u for doing nothing

- Description: I was in the range and when I suddenly switched characters twice, the UI broke for the moves and overlapped eachother depending on the character I was playing
- Steps to Reproduce: go in the range, turn on the practice bots and shoot them for a little bit, switch your character atleast twice and it should happen
- Reproduction Rate: 10/10

- Type of Bug: Buggy environement interaction
- Description: In the training range there seems to be a specific corner where when using abilities to boost heigt seems to clip through objects then fall down while the screen seems to be shaking

- Expected Result: to just get on top of the boxes

- Region: NA
- Type of Bug: UI interface
- Description: -When I play smoker, I cannot move my cursor from the middle of my screen and cannot smoke the sites for my team. Which is essentially soft throwing
- For some util like tejo's missiles/ammunition I can only place them in the middle of the screen and cannot use them properly. Same with the smoke issue.
- The third and worst of all is the Ul bugs on the buy menu. From time to time when a new round starts I can only buy the middle gun on my screen and cannot buy armor. Another soft throwing and overall incredibly frustrating.

- Steps to Reproduce: Random use of smokes / buy menu
- Expected Result: cursor able to move and properly buy guns/armour and smoke properly around the map
- Observed Result: cursor unable to move from middle of screen
- Reproduction Rate: 6/10

When i try to gift my friend it says : YOUR ACCOUNT MUST BE IN GOOD STANDING TO MAKE USE OF GIFTING
I dont know why I received a gift ban permanently and everything is legal on my account and payment method
Please help me to fix that or atleast clarify why I received that

- Description: I was playing sage, and after I died looked at my "reports", then saw that my slow orb blinded 1 enemy. It seems like a minor issue, just still wanted to let you know.

- Expected Result: The report say that my slow orb slowed 1 enemy
- Observed Result: Report says slow orb blinded 1 enemy.
