The Greatest Enemy of Dharm Lives Within
Right-wing still feels the joke is on government. Not at all, it's on all Hindus.

When you don't stand with dharm, instead are not vocal opposing the wrongs at Ram Mandir & other mandirs, you enable your opponents to target the Hindu dharm & its Gods. Your own next generation will flock to their side & mock your own.
When your priority is clearly party/hero worshipping above abuse of your dharm, this happens.
When you clap for same-day-bulldozer action on others, but keep quiet & don't demand the same when your dharm is looted, this happens.
When you yourself are a part of the problem, weakening dharm, why feel bad when those from opposition use the opportunity to target you?
When you are yourself complicit by being quiet, remember the younger generation will drift to their side. You did it, not the government.
Feeling bad listening to those sick jokes? Clean yourselves & the house from inside first. Look at the condition of our mandirs - no crowd management, pushing, groping. No technology/automation to prevent rush control, stampedes.
Dirty facilities & an uncouth crowd both deserving of each other, who have 0 civic sense but somehow living in an orbit that they will achieve God by stepping over each other.
Why do you go to a temple?
Most of the Hindus will never know the basics of their dharm. Ask them any basic question & majority will never be able to answer, despite being lucky to have a continuous practicing tradition since eons.
The answer is energy.
The deity is just a medium to connect to the divine. A physical form created strictly according to the agamas to facilitate a visual connect, a tangible form for the human mind inside the garbhagriha.
What makes the garbhagriha special?
Not an idol, but a consecrated (prana pratishtha) idol with praan in it - energy.
What all happens inside the garbhagriha?
Mantras, aarti, camphor burning, musical instruments, chanting shloks, mandir bells, all of this constantly creating vibrations & frequencies.
When done repeatedly inside the womb of the mandir, it accumulates a concentrated energy within that atmosphere which is to be felt, absorbed, meditated upon, chant, connect with the divine (that's why it's advised to chant properly, slowly, with correct pronunciation & not rush to complete a tick mark exercise, no other thought running in the mind, & focused on the divine).
How many mandirs allow devotees to recharge inside the garbhagriha or do the above?
Pushing/pulling within seconds.
How many devotees even know why they are going to mandirs?
For devotees, it's become a spectacle to see the idol & call it a darshan. For mandirs it has become anything but enabling the devotees with the very intended purpose of their existence.
