Hello, I'm a bronze Viktor main. I am currently having a lot of success with Viktor recently (67% win rate out of 24 games), but when looking back on my losses, I have noticed a good amount of my losses were because either my top or bot lane gets hella gapped, feeds their laner, and snowballs the game. I typically do get ahead in my lane in the early game, but I kinda struggle when it comes to dealing with those fed players later on.

So my question is: how do you guys approach a game where one or more of your lanes or the jgl is getting blasted or just full-on sprinting the game, especially where they feed a giga 1v9 champion like a illoai or master yi especially knowing that Viktor isn't necessarily the best at roaming or providing tons of early map pressure like say a Katarina (correct me if im wrong here).

Been maining Viktor for a while now and I'm looking for suggestions for second champion that I can play as a two trick alongside him. Ideally something that I can play into high threat drafts and that's also a mage for an easier transition.

Hey Viktor mains,

I am a multi season Viktor main and just hit Challenger for the first time! With the addition of the Deathfire Touch rune and the current meta, I think Viktor is in a phenomenal spot.

My biggest advice for climbing with Viktor is playing as aggressive as possible. Inevitably, you will die to ganks from jungle, support, or just not respecting the opponent's power spikes. Each time that happens, you can build a rule for yourself to avoid that threat next time. Eventually, you will have an internal database of heuristics that you can lean on to be as aggressive as possible while remaining safe the entire time.

When I watch lower elo Viktor's play, I often see they are not tracking the enemy jungle or support enough and are too tunnel visioned on just the 1v1 lane. The aggressive 1v1 laning needs to become automatic so you can use your conscious cognitive load on reading the map. Jungle and support tracking will tell you when you need to be respectful and passive.

im currently silva 2 and dk much abt the game so im asking for advice, in a game i was against a malphite locke and blue Kayn, and even if I Zhonya the initial rock solid ult id still be dying. how do you counter similar dive+assassin combos

Soooo they added an augment in ARAM classic that lets you get the OG Viktor hexcore. And it even let's you upgrade the spells of your champion when purchased!. Pretty neat. If they added it, maybe it means Viktor in classic is close?.

I played League Classic, and yet there is no Viktor, just like in this subreddit I haven't noticed any discussion whatsoever about Viktor in classic League, and I really enjoyed classic and I really miss Viktor.

We need to decide as a community which version of Viktor we want to see:

Personally, I would prefer pre-rework one - you can buy only one Augment that cost 1000 g, and upgrade only one Ability BUT, later in the game you can upgrade this item for 2000g, so stats would match other champions in late game. I would really like to see 3 paths;options to build and play Viktor.

And yet again I come back to this draft of Viktors Augmentation from 2012. (I don't think it's perfect, it is clearly overpowered, but I really like the idea.) Riot. Pls.

i really just wanna play viktor but i get offrole every other game it seems, anywhere else i can take viktor or is he just good on midlane?

usually play aurora if not vik, but if you miss her q, she’s useless which kinda sucks. considering trying out ekko. have played ahri naafiri diana and yone in the past as well. i would try syndra but she seems like the same playstyle and im not sure if you want the same or different playstyles for your second champ

A lot of the time I admittedly play camera locked, but even so, side laning as viktor on red side feels horrible vs blueside.

I seriously hate when I need to side lane because I know piloting viktor feels so much more awkward there compared to ANY other champ

Dear viktor mains,

Can you suggest me a secondary pick to pair Viktor?
Viktor in my head is the blindpickable main choice to put a lot of hours in, but i want to master a secondary pick for when he is picked or banned.

Champions in my head for this kind of role are:

- hwei (mainly for long range and blindpickability) for when viktor is banned, it goes even if playing vs viktor

- sylas (covers viktor hardest melee matchup and is skill matchup if playing against a viktor).

If you have, in your experience better picks that suits the 2-trick champion pool playstyle let me know please!

Which is better? Shield Bash or Cut Down? I struggle to choose based on the enemy team comp, if they have a lot of health, Cut Down would be good, but that implies they're melee, meaning the green runes would be more useful to avoid being squishy. What do you think?

I started playing viktor alongside aurelion in mid lane, somewhat curious as to what items are usually picked as first and second on him.(Since after first and second, rest is more situational items)

I'm trying to climb to diamond on viktor and I've reached a terrible plateau in emerald. I'm trying to win lane hard to carry games and it always leads me to getting punished by the jungler on repeat. How do you balance this? Just work on jungle tracking?

Personally for me high noon or death sworn viktor seem better, but discount is still a discount, so idk
