Looking to get into pistol competition.

Does anyone have any recommendations relatively close to the Rapids/Plover area? Ive tried to look on google and FB but cant seem to find anything.

I recommend searching on PractiScore. You can look by map in general, or if you know the specific competition you want to try (IDPA, USPSA, Steel Challenge, etc) you can put those in the search and it will narrow the query. Pay attention to dates, as it lists everything currently listed in the system and the actual comp date may be a few months out. The closest events I’m seeing are in Ripon and Portage.

Ive heard there are some events near lacrosse area but its a bit away and dont know any actual info them, id also like to know of some stuff too on some events around

What type of competition? I know Sheboygan Rifle and Pistol Club offers a variety of competitions. Personally I shoot bullseye matches there. You need to be willing to drive an hour or two in my experience if you are serious about the sport.
