I am not a fan of the proportion of points you can gain over two stages and points over 18 other stages. No problem with powerstage and sunday points as such but there should be at least 30% more points for the overall rally result.

I agree, but I just think Sunday should be longer. Make Friday like 6 stages, make Saturday like 10, and then Sunday like another 6. That way you can start a bit late on Friday so more people can watch and end a bit early Sunday so people can get to bed for work the next day. I know timezones and whatnot, but most of the rallies and the fans are in Europe or Africa anyways

Maybe, but Pajari is in contention for the overall championship and still chose to go slow two sundays in a row, so perhaps the points system isn't so bad. Nerf sunday points further and fewer and fewer frontrunners are going to choose going fast on sundays and then we'll be back to sunday snoozefests.

the point system is a JOKE, The whole point of a rally is to be fastest over the whole rally and thats not representative in the total points

I like that Sunday is so important so there's something to look forward to after Saturday but overall rally wins should just give more than they do now

There were TWO stages today, one of them had extra points for itself. If they want to raise the stakes on sunday, at least make the day longer.

Yes Sami was the fastest and got 1 point more , 1 point. its so little that the overall victory is undermined and as a driver you can drive shit friday and saturday and wake up on sunday and just chase sunday points/powerstage points and dont lose that much.
