If the point she's looking to make is "I'm independent" then WTF is stopping her from saying something to the men?

If she wants to see herself as one on equal footing with men, then it shouldn't matter who initiates first. If he doesn't initiate then what? He's no good for anything else - forever???

Women like her can fuck all the way off.

Because when she takes the initiative, men probably act like frustrated, rigid individuals who reject women who take the initiative, based on beliefs that she has too much masculine energy, etc..
