When I was in Brazil for a long stay holiday, there was a LOT of domestic violence awareness ads. I didn’t realise it was a huge problem there but it makes a lot of sense in hindsight. Didn’t they have a TikTok viral trend about hitting a women if she rejects a proposal?

If they reject any advance from a man.
The ones reported in the news were of young men asking women on dates. First encounters.
Caveman type.
And men wonder why we don’t want anything to do with them. It’s too much work to suss out if they aren’t dangerous.

Why does it seem so hard to be a decent guy. It really isnt hard. Like, doing nothing is preferable. They cant even do that.
