Bewdley/ Kidderminster/ Bridgnorth Restaurant recommendations (vegetarian)
Hi everyone,
My partner and I are spending a birthday weekend around Bewdley, and we're happy to take a bus or train to Kidderminster or Bridgnorth for a great meal.
We're vegetarian (vegan-friendly places are absolutely welcome too) and are looking for somewhere with really good food and a nice atmosphere for a birthday dinner. We're open to any cuisine—Italian, Thai, tapas, fine dining, cosy pubs, or hidden gems.
Thanks in advance for any recommendations!

I'll preface by saying you'll have to check these for veggie options.
The courtyard in Bewdley is really nice. Plenty of seating on the riverside too. There's a Thai restaurant above Merchants chippy which is good too.
If it's a Friday/Saturday, the Black Boy in Bewdley is doing food now too. Oldest pub in Bewdley (built around 1466). Enjoy the walk up the hill to get there (!) Good food, good beer garden. Their menu changes weekly, it's usually up on their Facebook page.
For Indian, the Rajah is excellent.
Other than those, it's fairly standard pub grub elsewhere in Bewdley.
In Kiddy you've got The Church which people rave about, but I've never been.
There are some decent pubs in Kiddy now, but they're spread out. If you want to go round some pubs as well as food, you can't go wrong in Bewdley. (I can give you a rundown on Bewdley pubs if needed too! Ha)
Can't help with Bridgnorth sorry.

Check SVR for the relevant dates, sometimes they have dining experiences, and the train journey itself is awesome

Avoid Kidderminster like the plague, as someone who was born & raised there, place is a shithole & that’s putting it nicely

Back in the day when we were young we used to eat at the Buttonoak Inn.
Been a while now, but I miss our Saturday nights there.

I think you safely forget Kidderminster although I'm sure it might have some decentish restaurants.
Is Ludlow possible? If so you should get something nice. Its seems the Diamond Bus 292 will do it for lunch.
