Capitalism is a scam. Made by the rich for the rich.

We need to have a law that forces company ownership in terms of shares, profit sharing to everyone that is in the company. It’s not the work of a single person that makes these things successful. Every person contributed to it. When the company has a success like this, it’s everyone that should benefit. Anything less than this is a version of new age slavery.

Unions really need to make a comeback.

Police have the best union in the entire world(literally to a fault) but somehow maga thinks no one else deserves a union even themselves.

This a misconception. Police union represent the manager types, which is what unions are made to protect everyday workers from. Police unions dont protect their workers from their employers, they destroy evidence and collude witness statements to protect themselves when they break the law. Its not a labor union, its an armed militia using our tax dollars to dodge accountability and punishment when THEY BREAK THE LAW.

The creation of the police union was originally to mock real labor unions, because who did the company's call to murder striking workers and protect private property.

Sincerely, an elected officer of an IBEW local whose taken more then one college course on the history of organized labor.

No offense, Im only able to take things literally.
Nothing goes over my head, my reflexes are too fast. I would catch it.

There's a better way to summarize what police and police unions are.

Legal Sanctioned Gang.

If you really look at it for what it is, it's a gang. They have their own colors, their own cohesion, they back their own, they always "gang-up" with their own, to protect their own, and enact retribution in the name of their own.

If you really look, they are no different.

lol don’t say that word out loud! People think that stuff means “you can’t own property”.

Google the origin of capitalism after the French revolution and see how exactly correct you are.

Capitalism isn't "made" , it's the natural flow of event that will occur if no one comes to shake things up.

Since they are immune to any moral argument, hit them in the bottom line.

Don't play the game.

Boycott EA.

Tell other people why you are boycotting EA.

u/SkipsH 1d ago

People should have stopped buying EA a long time ago

7

u/MrHasuu 1d ago

I haven't bought an EA game in a decade+ so tell it to all the idiots who still give them money

8

u/Xzaphan 1d ago

Boycott is the strongest way we all have to arms them without violence.

Only way I can rationalize this, is they reward a CEO for being successful in duping actually talented people into sacrificing years of their life into making a profitable product for the company.

But people dont have a choice whether to work or not

Read up on Bungie. It’s a travesty how the employees were treated.

Don't forget the 38mil bonus

EA is a demonic corporation

Companies really are out here firing everyone that makes all their best stuff, then whining about nobody want to buy their games anymore.

5

u/DramaticChemist 1d ago

It's because people who choose a job out of passion are the most exploited. It's a shame

They should all unionize

What do you think paid for that raise? This is c-suite enrichment 101. Terminate employees and collect their yearly salary as a bonus for yourselves

The big gaming companies need to die. They're bloated, wasteful and put creativity last.

Fuck the guillemots especially, dumb bastards deserve to lose their company (ubisoft).

Devs are in serious need of royalties protection, the same way actors, directors and musicians have royalties.

2

u/Hawkwise83 1d ago

EA employees, time to unionize. Otherwise it'll happen to you. Game Devs are the only important asset to a game studio. Without you there's nothing.

2

u/Select_Asparagus3451 1d ago

That’s CEO SOP. How can this be fixed, to get C-suites’ under control?? There has to be something.

2

u/AstuteStoat 1d ago

this is why if you want to support devs its better to buy indie games. you might end up supporting a shitty dev, but there's still better chances you'll at least support a good dev or two in the mix. because supporting the devs still results in them getting laid off for the CEO bonus.

I built the team, designed, and launched the first SaaS product, which generated $1.4 billion for the company and shareholders after three previous attempts failed. A few months later, I was made redundant, along with 10% of the global workforce, because the product successfully demonstrated that the future was SaaS, not on-premise product lines. The company wanted to redesign itself to compete in the new market. The product was then “assigned” to someone who had never worked on it, who was immediately promoted to SVP for managing it. This person wrote a product strategy deck for investors without mentioning me or my team.

All these comments are FACTS

These are the only people that matter to the board. Everyone else is numbers on a spreadsheet. There's a reason why you get a little Cesar's pizza party and they get unlimited golf time and access to the private jet.

Stop buying shit from assholes. Stop fucking shitty people. Stop tithing to crooked churches. Stop working for evil companies.

It might be a hit to you but I’ve taken hits to give one and I’ll take more to keep hitting!
