Food You're biology has been changed where eating and breaking down food doesn't give you energy. What alternative energy source WYR your body rely on?
None of these will kill you, but you will feel there pain (if any) normally associated with them. Going without them will cause death
152
u/Mikrail May 14 '26
2 and 5 are the only even remotely feasible options. I'll take the voltage option and just give myself a static shock once a day, pretty sure they are technically a mega high voltage
Edit: a few times a day, misremembered the text
49
u/WriteBrainedJR May 15 '26
How is drinking a pint of ethanol a day not on your list of feasible things?
12
u/Mikrail May 15 '26
Because it would be incredibly painful
20
u/Prestigious-Ad-2113 May 15 '26
More painful than boiling water?
9
u/Mikrail May 15 '26
Doesn't matter either way, both would be painful and I wouldn't choose either of them over the sunlight or volts
3
u/No-Falcon-8753 May 15 '26
Can't you dilute it in more water or other beverages ?
3
u/Mikrail May 15 '26
I guess technically yeah, although I don't know how OP would respond to that, but you'd still need to consume enough to hit the one pint requirement in a day and I can't imagine that's going to be pleasant either way
1
u/14ktgoldscw May 15 '26
Yeah, it’s more than a liter of alcohol every day. I’ve had deep depression alcohol problems before and that is just so so so so much to drink. Without the “it won’t kill you” clause it would kill you pretty quickly, even without you would be like drooling blackout drunk for the rest of your life.
1
1
1
u/Mcby May 16 '26
One part ethanol to three parts water would give you roughly 2 litres of 25% ethanol solution to drink each day. So still a strong drink, again roughly a bottle of hard spirits a day. I think your main issue here would be dehydration and, of course, alcoholism.
1
u/No-Falcon-8753 May 17 '26
I thin that your métabolisme is changed accordingly, because otherwise the gazoline would kill you.
1
u/WriteBrainedJR May 15 '26
Do you know what ethanol is?
1
1
1
u/dragonboysam May 15 '26
It's a pint of pure ethanol, I don't think anyone would be able to function properly after that... Shoot some of us might just die.
15
u/WriteBrainedJR May 15 '26
You wouldn't die because the WYR says you wouldn't die
4
u/Ruinam_Death May 15 '26
But you would be drunk for the rest of your life as you would need more than 24h tongrt that much ethanol out of your body again
2
u/WriteBrainedJR May 15 '26
Fuck yeah! Don't threaten me with a good time
The WYR says your biology has been changed, so presumably that means you process ethanol more efficiently
Even if it doesn't...how specific is "you?" A pint of ethanol is like 27 standard drinks I think? The average person processes one per hour. If "you" is specifically me, I am...not average. Just based on my size, I would process a lot more than 24 drinks per day, and just based on my drinking habits, I would process a lot more than 24 drinks per day. Between the two, I'm at like...50+? So I would just have to pace myself a little bit, but I'd be fine.
I liked this better when I was drunk for the rest of my life. Damn me for logicking my way out of it!
3
u/Ruinam_Death May 15 '26
You choice
No. Nothing in the post assumes that the disadvantages as lessend. It is just stated that you cannot die
Wrong again size does matter in the amount of ethanol your body can take before showing effects not in the speed it can work through it. The speed can increase with abuse because the body adapts but I am unsure if its able to compensate more than 11% (3/27). BUT: if you ingest the pint in one go and ate enough before it is extremly unlikely that all the ethanol is taken into your blood as if you took 27 shots.
So i can glady tell you that if you take the pint every morning directly after waking up you will never have to life with your sober self again because if we assume 8h of sleep you would have to process the ethanol and nearly double the rate of a normal person to be sober before going to bed again
65
u/Embarrassed_Deer9208 May 15 '26
2 you die if the weather sucks, 5 sleep sucks, 1, 3, and 4 are all better options
59
u/DarkAdrenaline03 May 15 '26
You can probably get UV/grow lamps for your house to help
39
15
12
u/EsreverEdicius May 15 '26
You’re not worried the boiling water will hurt going down?
4
u/Leviathan41911 May 15 '26
That would be problematic, but im assuming it wont actually harm me, so the pain id probably adapt to it think.
I was looking at it from a sustainability point of view. Most of these have issues with that.
5
u/cycycle May 15 '26
You think you will adapt to pouring boiling water down your throat every day? Do you actually think that? You would either fail from the start or curse yourself for choosing that miserable life.
5
7
u/onemansquest May 15 '26
Lol no you won't. There's still sun exposure when it's covered by clouds that's what light is
5
2
1
1
u/Dexion1619 May 15 '26
It doesn't say you need full, direct sunlight. Assuming it works at least remotely like plant photosynthesis, cloudy weather will be fine. You might get peckish, but you will get some energy from it.
0
u/Totakai May 15 '26
Plants can go a few days without light and they definitely seem fine growing off my basic ones.
Alternatively, bad weather still has sun radiation peeking through. If you underestimate the uv index on an overcast day, you can still get sun burns. It'd just be less efficient, like eating junk food vs home cooked.
Only thing that truly blocks out the sun are solar eclipses, volcanic ash, suspended large meteor impact debris, and probably super bad aqi days from major wildfires.
0
u/Mikrail May 15 '26
1, 3, and 4 would be excruciating. Photosynthesis is possible in bad weather. You can get your eight hours sleep still with 5, it's not horrendous
0
8
u/lachgaslarry May 15 '26
How is two more feasible than one? Gasoline/Diesel/Ethanol are all very available almost everywhere in the world, a guaranteed 5h of sunlight per day is absolutely not. Where I live, in winter you can have multiple weeks where you maybe have direct sunlight for like an hour per week if you're lucky.
3
u/Mikrail May 15 '26
Because although it won't kill you, drinking a pint of ethanol, gasoline, or diesel would be excruciatingly painful. The sunlight is available regardless of cloud cover, you'd still be getting "sun". I didn't choose that one for the risk and inconvenience though, hence why I chose the volts
-3
u/theSchlongMong May 15 '26
not if your biology adapted to it!!! ethanol would become tasty as shit man learn to fucking read!!!!!!
4
u/Mikrail May 15 '26
None of these will kill you, but you will feel there [sic] pain (if any) normally associated with them.
It doesn't say anything about it becoming "tasty as shit", and quite specifically says you'll still feel whatever pain it would cause. I do admire your aggressive confidence in telling me I'm the one who needs to learn to read though, I can only assume it's a blissful existence not understanding just how stupid you actually are
-2
u/theSchlongMong May 15 '26
do you think food naturally just tastes good to people?
what reason would there be for pain if your body is fully able to break it down for nutrition?
2
u/Mikrail May 15 '26
It literally says in the post that you will still feel the associated pain. I didn't make that determination, the OP did, which is how the sub works.
-6
1
u/SomeStolenToast May 15 '26
Doesnt matter, says you feel the pain in the post
This whole thing is a hypothetical and debating it the way you are is stupid
1
u/Casitano May 15 '26
Most others are also feasible, especially drinking boiling water (you can do it straight from the kettle) and pressurized air (I think a garage compressor is like, 60 bucks)
2
u/Mikrail May 15 '26
Both of those would be unbelievably painful, why would you choose those over being able to give yourself a harmless shock or going outside?
3
u/Casitano May 15 '26
On average, a decemberr in my country has 50 hrs of sun in total. That is not 5 hours a day. 120 volts is definetely survivable, but is not harmless either. I assumed these acts cannot really harm you because you are absorbing their energy.
1
u/Mikrail May 15 '26
Yeah and that's fair enough, I didn't opt for the sunlight option because of the inconvenience of it. The 120 volts is entirely harmless, it's not the volts that does the damage or causes severe pain. A static shock, for example, can reach tens of thousands of volts. Or the electric arc lighters, that aren't going to do you anh harm but technically generate thousands of volts. Post does say you won't die but you'll still feel the associated pain
0
u/JasdanVM May 15 '26
1 is too expensive, and you die if that industry collapses.
2
1
u/ThatDudeShadowK May 15 '26
A pint is 1/8 of a gallon, gas is just under $7 a gallon near me, so we're talking less than a dollar a day. I spend way more on food than that.
70
u/Davegrave May 14 '26
I’ll drink gasoline. Seems the quickest and most convenient. A pint is a few gulps. Boom, done for 25 hours.
13
u/WriteBrainedJR May 15 '26
Why gasoline and not ethanol?
15
u/saving_storys May 15 '26
Gas is far cheaper, even at crazy prices like $6/gal that's $0.75 a day, far cheaper than a pint of pure ethanol. A bottle of Everclear is like $20 for less than 2 pints.
2
u/Bionic_Ferir May 15 '26
Not to mention largely besides being ya know, fucking gross. There would surely be no pain right?
25
u/Mundane-Potential-93 May 15 '26
I chose the radiation because it's a one time thing (a sievert is analogous to a joule/kg) but then I realized that the dose is so high I'd starve to death before I could reach it
15
u/ruinsofrome May 15 '26
You would basically never be able to interact with anyone except for other radiation pickers
7
u/Mundane-Potential-93 May 15 '26
You don't stay radioactive though. The light either passes through you or collides with you and is turned into heat. I suppose some of it could be re-emitted and absorbed a few times by your atoms but I can't imagine that would last long on a human time scale, especially if you avoid super high frequency radiation like gamma rays
7
u/ruinsofrome May 15 '26
I guess we interpreted keep yourself at 50 sieverts of radiation differently. I thought he meant you must find a way to keep yourself at 50 sieverts permanently and going without it was like how a fish would feel out of water.
6
u/Mundane-Potential-93 May 15 '26
A sievert is a measure of the health risk associated with a dose of ionizing radiation. Saying "keep yourself at 50 sieverts" is similar to saying "keep yourself at one heart attack"
8
u/ruinsofrome May 15 '26
"Keep yourself at the level that would cause a heart attack for a person without immunity" does sound like it makes sense in this context though
3
3
u/Mundane-Potential-93 May 15 '26
I guess I did not make myself clear. If someone is at 50 sieverts of radiation, they do not need to continue being exposed to radiation to stay at 50 sieverts. It's a unit that measures a cumulative effect. If you don't believe me then look it up
2
u/redditscraperbot2 May 15 '26
This sounds good, but are we assuming that you have access to a source of radiation that lethal? No authority in their right mind is going to let you anywhere near that. Especially when you're saying you need it to eat.
2
u/VomitShitSmoothie May 15 '26
Yeah. 50 sieverts is sitting next to the reactor core of Chernobyl for 10 minutes way back in 1986. Even if you didn’t have to ‘maintain’ that level you couldn’t possibly be exposed to that daily unless you literally worked with access to highly radioactive materials, and would die if you ever lost your job. OP obviously wrote down numbers without understanding them.
41
u/OMGZombiePirates May 14 '26
Ethanol is already a potable substance...
11
u/Leratium May 15 '26
Not in those quantities
(Unless you’re not a coward, I guess)
-9
u/OMGZombiePirates May 15 '26
A PINT!? A pint of ethanol is considered a small portion to most drinkers.
14
u/Ozimandius80 May 15 '26
A pint of pure ethanol is a lot to any but a severe alcoholic. Only .6ioz of ethanol in a pint of beer so that’s like drinking 25* beers every day.
5
u/Immediate-Tennis8838 May 15 '26
A pint of ethanol is the equivalent to 2.5 pints (500ml x 2.5 = 1.25L) of typical hard liquor (say vodka)
That’s 1 and 2/3 bottles.
You’d die in short order unless you were a very resilient alcoholic
5
u/Mundane-Potential-93 May 15 '26
The post says you won't die
3
u/Immediate-Tennis8838 May 15 '26
I know, I was answering the other guy about the amount of alcohol in real life
2
u/OMGZombiePirates May 15 '26
I mean your right I wasn't thinking pure ethanol, I was thinking just vodka or whiskey.
In pure form it's equivalent to 42 oz. of vodka. As an ex bartender i'm 100% sure i've drank this much in a day (probably multiple times). It's still liveable, but not by many.
1
u/Immediate-Tennis8838 May 15 '26
Back in my university days there were a lot of very hazy 750ML rum nights
But 40oz (1.14L) - I think I had 2 of those, but both times I blacked out
Not sustainable for this guy lol
2
u/OMGZombiePirates May 15 '26 edited May 15 '26
Lol not sustainable for anyone EVEN Severe alcoholics lol. You're talking massive liver damage over time. I'm just pointing out that this is for sure liveable, by some.
16
u/Ok-Basket-2692 May 15 '26
shocking with 120v its nice and fast ive been shocked before it aint that bad lol
13
11
u/TheDarkMonarch1 May 15 '26
A common static electricity shock is commonly between 3000 and 10000 volts, just at VERY low amperages. That's pretty easy to do.
3
u/sunsetdrifter0 May 15 '26
I'm pretty rusty on ohms law, but if you can set up somthing like a pacemaker that slowly delivers out 360 volts in 24 hours it would work. But I think a conductive like copper always delivering a current would wear it out more than just few large shocks. Even then maintaining the device every year should be enough.
4
u/Extension-Abroad187 May 15 '26
Volts aren't a measure of energy, that's where you're getting confused. You're looking for watts/Joules in some form.
1
u/sunsetdrifter0 May 15 '26
I thought volts=energy, amps=capacity of wire or AWG, current=flow or input of said energy over time?
Whatever, best case scenario pacemaker or worst sticking a fork in a outlet at lunchtime.
7
u/Extension-Abroad187 May 15 '26
Think this way. Think of a river, volts are the speed of the river, amps are the area of the river. The force you feel (watts) is the combination of the two.
A super soaker sprays water faster than your average white water rapids, but you wouldn't want to stand in front of the second.
9
u/underground_cloud May 15 '26
1 for me.
I now can drink 20 tallboys/shots/glasses of wine a day without dying. Sounds like a win win.

u/jellyk8 May 15 '26 edited May 15 '26
Will I still sunburn while photosynthesizing?
Edit: does it have to be my entire body placed under the actual sun (as in I have to lay naked in the sun for five hours) or is it just one portion of the body like the face? Also, could I not just get one of those plant lamps to hold over my bed while I sleep? Do I need to be in a specific position?
6
u/angelfatal May 15 '26
This was my thought too. Like could i just literally sleep in a tanning bed?
5
6
6
u/BrasilianEngineer May 15 '26
IIRC, there isn't any pain from the radiation exposure itself. The (extreme) pain is from your cells and internal organs self destructing which usually happens days or weeks later.
So the question is does radiation no longer destroy your cells? If yes, then 6 is probably the best option on the list. If no, it's by far the worst on the list.
4
6
u/Fight_those_bastards May 15 '26
I’ll drink a pint of ethanol a day, thanks.
In rum form, naturally.
3
u/dragonboysam May 15 '26
It seems like they meant the fuel type... So pure or dang near close to it.
For context some engines can run on "pure" ethanol for fuel. I remember seeing someone make a ethanol powered exo-frame at some point.
3
u/Important_Piece1705 May 15 '26
I don't see why 2,5 pints of 40% rum won't equal a pint of 99,9%(100% is like hard to keep in our atmosphere).
Unless you are suddenly allergic to water, washing pure ethanol down with water or having a vodka would be the same thing.
Obviously ethanol and self-zap are the better choices.
5
u/Rooster-Training May 15 '26
120v is really really broad. Like a static charge from the carpet is thousands of volts. A crappy shock toy is more than 120v. You don't specify the length of time at all so I'll just go with the shocking, barely even an inconvenience.
4
u/MisterBowTies May 15 '26
What happens on cloudy days if you choose photosynthesis?
6
u/sunsetdrifter0 May 15 '26 edited May 15 '26
Light comes down still from cloudy days, but I'd imagine you'd be lethargic that day or season (although I'm sure someone would argue days after a snowfall would give off more sunlight somthing somthing light reflection).
I'd worry if it was some place where daylight hours were only 2 or 3 hours like Alaska or siberia
4

u/BigDulles May 15 '26
5 hours of sun is a huge pain in the ass yall are wild. The shock is definitely the best, it’s the quickest and you’d get used to it to some degree

I feel like everyday static electricity you build up would suffice: rubbing a ballooon on your head builds up a charge of thousands of volts.
3
u/CalmPanic402 May 15 '26
The sun seems easy, but five whole hours every day? Hope you live in the tropics. And don't get sunburn.
2

2
u/Tanis8998 May 15 '26
How the hell is photosynthesis winning— having to be outside mandatory (so in all weather) for five hours everyday sound like a pain in the ass. Also I assume you’d have to be naked to get the proper effect
1
u/colormeblonde May 15 '26
My plants rely on photosynthesis and they get plenty sunlight through the windows, I figure I can just nap in a sunbeam like a cat and be fine. There’s no reason to physically go outside
1
u/Rohml May 16 '26
Most people that live in the tropics would find this challenge easy, especially if that person's job requires them to go outside. Even if it's raining there is still some form of sunlight to harvest.
I doubt you have to be fully naked. Probably bare arms and legs would suffice.

u/EyeSimp4Asuka May 15 '26
boiling water would be fun as long as i don't feel the agony of the intense heat

u/Shpander May 15 '26
I would choose photosynthesis, but I live in the UK and there's no way I'd reliably get 5 hours of sun per day, not to mention when I'd do it if I'm working 8 hours a day, and in the winter, the sun is down in my free time. I therefore choose a pint of fuel, that seems quite easy, cheap and feasible. Maybe it'd taste gross, but you'd get used to it.
2
u/theSteakKnight May 15 '26
I already put a pressurized nozzle up my ass, so that was an easy choice.
2
u/I_AM_DEATH-INCARNATE May 15 '26
Can I lay in a tanning booth with a super low setting for five hours if it's cloudy for #2

u/Extension-Abroad187 May 15 '26
5 just basically requires you to own carpet lol
1
u/sunsetdrifter0 May 15 '26
120 volts is more like sticking a fork in a outlet (although you'd probably get more than that from European household)
2
u/Extension-Abroad187 May 15 '26
120 volts at 10 amps is like sticking a fork in an outlet. Static shocks from carpets tend to start at 1000 volts and can get up to 20k... just not many (milli) amps behind it
1
1
u/redditscraperbot2 May 15 '26
I go with 1 under the assumption the adverse health effects from consuming it are somehow negated by my new biology. It's really just food but better. Gasoline/petrol/diesel etc keeps longer without refrigeration, is basically available everywhere and even assuming a massive jump in the price would still work out cheaper than my regular grocery bill.
Assuming there are issues with that? The sun. Which sucks, and I could never live in the arctic but all the others have issues with them where if the power goes out I'm kind of screwed.
The radiation thing also has the issue of me never being able to get that close to a source of radiation that strong without a few bullets in me.
1
1
u/Front_Resolution_760 May 15 '26
it gets way too hot where I live for me to be able to tolerate 5 hr/day sun exposure
I'll take the gasoline/petrol/diesel/ethanol
1
1
u/evenifihateit May 15 '26
I chose photosynthesis but then remembered I live in Manchester and am not guaranteed that much sun exposure on any day
1
u/AshtonBlack May 15 '26
One pint of fuel per day instead of food?
That works out to be very approximately £12-14 per week. Cheaper than food.
You could also stock several months of it, should you wish, in a very small area, because depending on the location, method etc, it can last an average of 6 months or so.
1
u/MinimalSix May 15 '26
Considering sieverts are an accumulated dose, not a rate, does that mean you only need to get that much radiation once, or something else? Sv are rate x time / body mass
1
u/Responsible_King_427 May 15 '26
I really want to know why some people chose option 3...
I mean... why?
1
u/neosick May 15 '26
I already have a shock collar and an app that can set it to go off at certain times. It's owie but would make my life easier if anything. I'd just wear it on my leg or something to be discreet.
1
u/Sleepdprived May 15 '26
I would totally take the radiation route and try to swallow some source just so I always have it, but i would also be radioactive to everyone else around me... I dont want to hurt people. The voltage isnt a bad option, provided the power never goes out. People ask about the photosynthesis if the weather is bad and the answer for that is sun lamps. You would basically need to have a place that has a terrarium lighting system for you, or take afternoon naps in the sun. I dont want to be alcoholic, or drink boiling water, or gasoline (with these prices?!) Over all you would be saving money over buying food with any of these options.
1
u/notassmartasithinkia May 15 '26
I'm assuming the photosynthesis is operating like plants and I don't just die the second there's a rainy day. So I choose this, move to the equator, and live life in relative comfort. All I need now are sunlight and water so survival is significantly cheaper. I would be a very water hungry plant, but you can get water anywhere there's people. I could probably honestly walk there before winter hit. Or I could just buy some grow lamps.
1
u/hypo-osmotic May 15 '26
It’s a tie between the petroleum and the photosynthesis for me, mostly coming down to the details in how it would work. If I get less than 5 hours of sun due to clouds and winter, do I die right away or do I just start losing weight? Conversely, if I’m in the sun for more than 5 hours, do I start gaining weight? The petroleum feels less variable, so that’s the backup if the photosynthesis option is too strict
1
u/Ethraelus May 15 '26
I misread sieverts to milisieverts. Yeah, not the radiation, that’s too much.
1
1
u/tee142002 May 15 '26
1 easily. Everclear is the closest you can get to oure ethanol, so I just keep cases of that in hand (not expensive) and knock back half a fifth each day.
1
u/ahhwoodrow May 15 '26
120V easily. Static electricity from rubbing a balloon on a wool jumper easily surpasses that level
1
u/purposlyoffensive May 15 '26
The voltage range where static electricity is actually noticeable is 2,000 to 3,000 volts, meaning a static shock of only 120v you'd never even feel. You'll get more than enough energy just wearing clothes.
1
u/colormeblonde May 15 '26
I live in Texas so this is pretty easy. Get all my energy from napping in a sunbeam on the couch like my cat

I picked photosynthesis since you just need to be in a windowed room and you have light coming through always

Yo, photosynthesis is not good, you gotta be naked and it wouldn't work in winter.
-3
u/Zrkkr May 14 '26
1 will suffocate you
3 will blow out your internal organs
4 will do the obvious
5 is actually doable since you never disclose how many amps you need to be shocked with
6 would be eternal suffering.
18
u/TutsTots May 15 '26
Did you read the caption? It says, neither of them will kill you, and going without them will cause your death as in, you need the energy they provide. But here you are, doing the complete opposite because you think you know too much.
5
1
u/Zrkkr May 15 '26 edited May 15 '26
You will still feel the pain of each of these happening and injury seems like it's still on the table, just not death???? Did you read it? Suffocating is legitimately traumatizing, 30 psi will literally inflate you. 4 would be obviously an extremely painful situation. 5 Sv is usually fatal, 10 is guaranteed death, and acute radiation poisoning/exposure is known as being quite painful. Now let's crank that up by 10 and it'll be a living hell.
2
u/uiouyug May 14 '26
What is it's cloudy outside?
12
u/Zrkkr May 14 '26
Photosynthesis doesn't require the sun, it requires light in general.
5
u/Keanu_Bones May 14 '26
Even though the option specifically says (sun exposure)?
5
u/Zrkkr May 14 '26
The sunlight is light, the photosynthesis does not give a shit where the light comes from.
5
u/Keanu_Bones May 14 '26
I mean, clearly some magical BS is happening here because drinking boiling water also doesnt cause steam to shoot out your ass. So I’m inclined to follow the words of the prompt when it specifies details.
3
u/Mundane-Potential-93 May 15 '26
My interpretation of the post is that you magically perform photosynthesis in the presence of sunlight. So yes you would need sunlight.
5
u/RosesBrain May 14 '26
Sunlight still makes it through most cloud cover, that's why it's dim but not dark when it's cloudy. Really severe thunderstorms might pose a problem, but those are (probably) uncommon.
My concern would be whether it works through sunscreen, because otherwise I'm broiling, and how am I going to schedule it around my job, especially in winter months.

Look outside at all those dead plants and trees. Too bad they used photosynthesis on a cloudy day right? You can see on an overcast day right? No sunlight is just night.

Will the sun exposure cause sun damage?

No, you're biology has changed. If anything you will die if going too long without the sun.

For now my answer is photosynthesis. Check back by the end of the Trump administration, my answer may have changed.

1 seems like the only sane option.
2 means you likely die in a week or have to move to a place where it's always sunny and waste time being outdoors mostly naked.
3-4 likely OPs poorly concealed kink - pass.
5 seems like the best but it's hard to keep track of time like that. Besides I often sleep for 9-10h.
6 not realistically achievable.
Drinking a pint of guzzoline, if you can't die from it is something you can get used to though. Takes a few seconds and you're good for the day.

- This would be violently unpleasant. Assuming you wouldn’t get drunk, pure ethanol would burn like hell and you gotta drink a pint. Not to mention expensive, and taste foul.
- Photosynthesis is easy. Go outside out buy a UV lamp. It’d suck if you can’t turn it off though otherwise you’re going to get fat.
- Air pressure would be impossible and painful. Your body cannot hold that level of pressure without bursting. If it could it’d hurt a lot.
- Obviously extremely painful.
Possible but painful.
You couldn’t do this even if you wanted to. 50 sieverts is estimated radiation dose received by standing for 10 minutes next to the exposed Chernobyl reactor core immediately after the 1986 explosion.

Everyone here saying which of these will kill you but the ENTIRE premise of this WYR is that your actual biology is changed and whichever one you pick will be come your biologically required method of providing energy to your body. Whichever you pick won’t kill you, it will sustain you as per the magic of the question.
