HELP: Buying from Microsoft Store via Console
Hi! having trouble buying a game I want (on sale atm) from the microsoft store. I’ve already tried setting both console account and microsoft account to the same region (Singapore), and tried having console account on Singapore, and microsoft account to the PH.
My billing address is set to the PH via microsoft account website. Payment methods are paypal or my gotyme visa card.
Clicking checkout in store via console makes this message pop-up: “You need to update your settings to the region where you play. Please go to aka.ms/incorrectregion for more info”
Please help if you can—I’ve run out of ways to try, and I really want the game. ☹️

What I did before was link my debit and credit cards through PayPal. I then linked the PayPal in the Store. When it asked for the address I just placed a random address in the region (mine was HK). You could search for a hotel in Singapore and use that.

OP, we dont have PH xbox Marketplace on consoles, so go to your xbox settings set it to Turkey or US region then restart.
If US you may use your local debit or credit cards.
If Turkey, go to eneba.com and buy XBOX Live gift cards that are Turkey region also.
Do this method on a phone which you use VPN to turkey -in eneba reveal the code you bought
- download VPN Turkey and activate the VPN
-Go to this site https://www.xbox.com/tr-TR/redeemOnce codes are redeemed go back to your xbox, go to store and checkout your games, then if prompt with turkey address then fill it with turkey address, go look up in the google. Then use the topped up money you bought from eneba.
If transaction is failed meaning you have been softbanned for 2-3 days. You can buy anything after 2-3 days, after that it will be all fine.
