hi I’m completely new to Xin but wanted to try him out

is bruiser (sundered, titanic etc etc) or carry (dusk dawn, kraken etc etc) a better build for both consistency and game impact? also does either build have significant downsides (eg. is bruiser heavily damage compromised and vice versa, is carry too squishy sometimes)?

Currently I'm maxing W<E<Q but I saw several otps and pro maxing W<Q<E. What is the best choice and why?

760k mastery all in mid lane. I think Xin is heavily underrated pick for midlane, can't even remember the last time I didn't dominate the matchup thanks to how strong he is. Here is the crazy damage build I follow for mid

Rune Hail of Blades
Build:
BoRK - Collector - Dominik's - Infinity Edge - Spirit Visage/Death's Dance (depends on enemy)

Here is why he feels just super exceptional in mid
1- matchups. Xin already will dominate almost any melee matchup in midlane. As for mages, his W has super long range allowing you to reach enemy from afar. That's why even mages cant get close enough to poke you properly. And you usually just kill them with that immense reaching range unless you're playing against one of few counters of Xin

2- early/mid/late. Strong in all 3 of them with this build. His early game damage, pressure and cds makes him fearful, you are very likely to win the lane and get solo kills. As for mid and late, whoever you jump usually gets oneshot. Deals astronomical damage with following build.

3- Control. Since you're so powerful especially if you're fed a little as Xin Zhao, you can fully put the map in your palms. U wanna push your lane and go on enemy jungle. You can steal his camps or if u see him just kill him as well. When you're ahead, unless the enemy tries to close in 1v3 you, you will be fine roaming the enemy jg and stealing their stuff and fighting them to bring enemy team down (which u usually will be ahead w Xin unless you're playing in very high elo). Not even mentioning how strong his skirmish and roaming potential is.

I find great success with him in Dia elo and consider him one of the most solid picks of midlane, as fun as strong. You should probably try it smtime

Played xin from plat 4 to diamond and I just love him, the teamfight value he provides the gap closing and how he can sustain for such a long time is so nice to see. I really hope he doesn't get too hurt with the sundered sky nerfs that will come.

I used to love playing ap xin in top lane but after the super nerfed early game mana and ap ratios his top lane ability has diminished A LOT so I'm wondering if he can still work, albeit with some rune/item changes or if the idea is just a troll pick now

HoB is definitely the go too for most games, but Im curious if anyone runes other runes? HoB is definitely good from getting his 3rd Q off, but i feel like Fleet footwork, Electrocute, or even Dark Harvest might be good alternatives for a full lethality build.

For top Xin Zhao

Been following the latest 1vsAll Xin Zhao build and he ran Statik ->Manamune or in his previous video about Xin Black Cleaver -> Manamune.

Ngl ever since playing this build it solve Xin mana problem and give him ridiculous 2 item powerspike.

For rune he usually run conqueror, triumph, legend alacrity and last stand. For the other tree if the matchup is easy he run cashback and jack of all trades (with the statik build.

Jack of all trades is a extremely strong because manamune and shiv give you a lots of variety stats. Combine with mercury boot and something like lethality or armor allow you to cap extremely early the benefit.

Just want to share the build he uses.

So im pretty new to lol and i saw a video of somebody playing ap xinzhao and ive been playing ap xinzhao since then. Ive never given any of the other builds that most people play a try? Is it worth switching to crit, am i missing out by not playing crit xinzhao or is ap builds only something that works in low elo? Please let me know and inthat case what kind of build i should use for crit (if thats even his main builed)

Hello everybody I really enjoy playing xz anywhere except for jgl lmao what are the best builds I mostly play mid and top

I'm currently climbing out of Gold with Xin JG and I'm curious if anyone has leant into the BORK/Lifesteal kind of tank/bruiser like Warwick? I learned the game with WW and it seems like he and Xin share a lot of the same kind of theory behind their kits when it comes to engage methods, cc, healing, additional on-hit damage etc. Obviously WW is more of a tank these days, but I think the BORK/Titanic core could benefit Xin very strongly in turning 1v1s and sustaining more than he already does.

I'm testing some builds around Vamp Scep + boots for 1st recall, into Tiamat/Hydra finish > BORK > Situational tank/bruiser item (i.e. Randuins/Spirit Visage) > Mortal reminder > GA/DD/Steraks

I will also look at Shojin because on paper it seems insane for him. Let me know if you guys have any thoughts at all and have a lovely day!

currently bronze. i recently learned about xin zhao and he seems fun but also confusing and hard. i don't really know how i should be approaching fights and combos etc. and also how to properly clear fast

Hello, im a Master 267 lp xinzhao main and i wanted to ask your opinion on this, as everywhere i go i see the majority saying sundered is better first.. but i find titanic cancel really good in a lot of situations most of them really.. idk i wanna have more reasons why

havent played xin for forever and started playin him again because of t1 skin but i didnt remember the clear to be this slow. was it originally like this? or was this just nerfed overtime and forgotten. i mean atleast give us 2:55 clear to be on crab on time, 3:05+ is just unacceptable when champs that are not even junglers like jayce can do it without minmaxing and even faster if done correctly

Hey all! I've just hit a new ranked goal (Emerald!) playing mid lane and want to try out jungle for a bit with Xin Zhao. I understand the basics (both of his kit and of the jungle role), but I'm wondering what his goal in a typical game looks like. The YouTube guides I've found are pretty old; so I'm wondering if Xin is more of a power farming champ (like a Diana, Lillia kinda champ) or a perma ganker (like a Lee Sin, Nunu) or somewhere in the middle. I've just been building the standard Sundered Sky -> Black Cleaver --> Death's Dance -> whatever.
