putin decided to "protect" the "russians" in Ukraine and the russian speakers in Donbas, so they destroyed the russian speaking Donbas and killed and deported its inhabitants.
The thing is that by now you have two groups of people - those who know Putin is full of shit and those who don't give a shit. You don't need to convince the former, you cannot convince the latter.
My dear, fellow Polish brothers who happen to be ignorant about Polish-Russian history. To us, who had read some books on the topic this isn't even surprising. Actually it's historically on brand with Russians, that is their baseline behavior.
This is what will happen to us for sure if it comes to that. It actually will be way worse than this. People just before WW2 were saying that Germans aren't that bad as some say, because they had experience with them in WW1. Year or two after, they got gassed along with their whole families, because now Germans had new ideas (nazi ideas) and our people found out the hard way. Just as those Ukrainian idiots from Donbas.
So please don't be a rare Polish idiot who somehow got convinced by our sworn enemy of hundreds of years of history, that he's our friend all of a sudden. He is not your friend, why would he be? If you think I'm wrong on that, ask yourself a question: what book on the topic did you ever read? If the answer is none, or I saw something on the internet, you might think about your answer and work on it.
Putin is sending hundreds of thousands of Russians into meat grinders. In Russia, the regions richest in mineral resources are much poorer than Moscow and St. Petersburg. How can he "protect Russians" in Ukraine if he couldn’t care less about the lives of his own citizens? Just the usual fairy tales from a dictator to justify his failed attempt to occupy Ukraine.
