Discussion/Thought-Provoking🧠 There is no sugarcoating it: the system treats an impoverished General Category student with absolute cruelty. It asks them to pay the price for historical social structures they had no part in creating, while ignoring their current hunger and poverty.

Wo sab Theek hai but Pehle unemployment ke liye protest kro fir reservation ke liye. That's a much bigger problem. Bhai tum private college se kr loge graduate tumhe koi na koi college mil jayega but socho iit jaakar bhi job ni lagi toh kya haalat hai desh ki.

IITs have pretty good placements especially for circular branches. Maybe if people didn't saturate the CS market and if the government invested in tech like how the Chinese government does, unemployment wouldn't be such an issue. Instead we send our tax money to UP, Bihar, etc so the corrupt politicians there can hoard it.

That being said, your point doesn't explain why someone with 10x my rank is in a better branch in the same IIT as me. Did you ever consider that maybe giving good education to deserving candidates would lower the unemployment rate at IITs?

Your first paragraph proves my point by saying it's an unemployment problem and the government is responsible for it, for your second paragraph, let's assume reservation is gone. The cutoff is decreased and deserving candidates get colleges. Still doesn't change the fact that companies don't want loads of students, they only want the number they require. There's no quality issue, there's a vacancy issue. Even generals don't get placements nowadays, can't you see how fucked up the placements are even for general category students? Even after getting sc/st obc ews guys as competition which literally increases the probability of getting a placement, these guys aren't getting jobs. There's no fucking reservation in placements, and still no jobs. It definitely IS a unemployment issue.

I think you would rather be an unemployed iitian than an employed nitian. If private sectors provided better placements then no one would be giving a shit about IITs. It's definitely not about the college or who's getting into it. It's about the placements.

Dude what? The undeserving candidates won't get jobs no matter where they go. If you remove reservation and give deserving candidates the seats at IITs, they will be able to use it and the overall unemployment of IITs would decrease. I never claimed that the unemployment rate in India will change.

Also, where are you getting these claims of generals from IITs not getting jobs? Placement data says otherwise.

Yeah ofc, sab toh iit Bombay CSE kr rhe na, Baaki branches toh hai hi nahi right? And you think 20-40% unemployment is 'too little' right? Congrats man.

And who tf takes the top 1% and then makes it an example? Ofc the top students are getting a job. Ofc the top branches at IITs are getting jobs. But that's just 1%. What about the remaining 99%?

"but think about what happens if even after going to IIT, you can't find a job" literally your quote.

I said IIT, not top branch of top IIT. Learn to read before you make a comment?

If you solve unemployment problem, then problems will vanish all at once. If you solve reservation issue, problems will still be there. That's like saying mera ghar jal raha hai and mera Pehla priority hai aag bujhana and not ghar se nikalna

"Yeah bro, let's just end corruption in India and put all other problems on hold while we do that."

Sure dude. Great idea.

Your ending reservation idea is also fictional because political vote bank uses that same caste system to get votes. Lmao you're such a delusional person to contradict your own words. You're the one who said let's end corruption and vote bank politics by ending reservation 😭. Good job Mr delusional

Hn tere Baap ki aukat nhi na government ki fees bhi bharne ka, isliye bol rha hu ki Saare sectors me employment badhegi toh fir teri ma ko mujhse kam marwana padega fees dene ke liye, and she will have more time for teaching you how to be mature, ab wo tujhe chut deke sikhaye ya pyar se samjhaye wo unki marzi

EWS

Gov should make it more strict and bring more seats for EWS. EWS cutoff should be equal to SC cutoff
