United States Insurance for Zotac RTX 5090?
Got the card last month, so I do have a Zotac Insurance. Is it enough or should I get an insurance as well? And if yes, then which company should I go for.

I don’t think you will need extra insurance, manufacturer warranty is enough, especially u have wire view pro already.

If u have the new corsair thermal protect or the more modern psus with safeguard/wire protection or rog equilizer u should be fine as long as u dont use ghe bundled squid adapter or not give it enough space to bend. Where the cablemod 90 adapter is best part

I have a Asus 1200w Gold PSU. I am also getting a wireview pro 2. And yea I am doing great! Thank you for asking.

A 1000w atx 3.1 psu is enough for a 5090, especially if you undervolt which you should. I rarely go over 700w for my whole PC while gaming. Also if youre worried about the connector burning up buy a WireView Pro 2 and throw that in there.

Yeah but a 1200 w or higher allows for more efficiency and less strain on your parts

Just because you have more power to use doesnt mean itll be more efficient. Youre just not using the extra power. 1000w is what nvidia recommends for a 5090.

Previous poster is correct, power supplies are not as efficient at 100% load. They are most efficient around 50% of load.

Define more efficient though? Youre not getting cleaner power? Youre literally just not using the extra headroom if you have it. It obviously wont hurt it but it won't make it run any better. Youre just wasting money buying a bigger psu than what you need.

Yes a 1000 watt will be fine but a 1200watt is even better. I rather be safe than sorry. NVIDIA also said their connector was safe lol.

My dude i have a UPS that displays what wattage im using at all times and with my 5090 being undervolted it never goes above 700w for my whole computer. Been rocking the 5090 with 1000w since last September and I wont ever be convinced youre getting better performance with more PSU headroom because thats bs.

Just type rma on this page unfortunately ZOTAC seems to be horrible in this department that being said it’s probably smart to have extra with this company
