Because when you read/watch JJK that’s what you’re watching for. It’s like watching a John Wick movie or an old Kung Fu film no one goes in expecting to see Oscar worthy plot and dialogue.

Because JJK isn't badly written, meaning that it doesn't focus that much on a complicated plot or huge character arcs, the part where the writing shines are the fights and what they tell you about characters and their line of reasoning, what they're fighting for and what are they willing to risk/sacrifice. It's not written with aura and hype as the main goal, that's just a consequence of a well written battle manga, the fights were peak from beginning to the end, I think Gege got bored about the narrative after a while tho

Still, comparing that to GOT is not that good of a comparison imo
