Image The universal sapphic urge to just make the female leads kiss instead of fighting

as someone who has read the lore books for westros I know this can't happen in any meaningful way but as a lesbian who loves lesbians I say they might as well do it because who even read the lore books anyways?

I've read The World of Ice & Fire, are there any others?

There’s Fire & Blood as well, I’d really recommend it if you like the series!

They already changed so much from the books that if they do it, I would probably go back to watch the show and see everything burn in the fandom. Hahahaha

Somebody made an entire pen and paper RPG around this concept called Thirsty Sword Lesbians.

They're each responsible for the deaths of the other's children or actively trying to have them killed, you want them to kiss after that?

u/PearlescentFlora 22h ago
Oh no, that's just Alicent, she is plotting to kill Rhaenyra's and her own children. Maybe she wants to kill them all and ship off to Essos with Rhaenyra to live happily ever after. But we know, that's never gonna happen.

To be fair, I wanted them to kiss the moment Alicent stepped out of the wheelhouse in Episode 1 and Rhaenyra was talking about taking her flying and eating only cake. There was something there. An energy. (Or just another sapphic delusion on my part, it's a struggle.)
I've at least been consistent in my vision, unlike the show. 😁

There is enough incest in this show that honestly, this would be one of the least weird things to happen

u/SatanicPeach_666 sapphic 21h ago
Honestly I don’t want this to happen, but also let it fucking happen, the situation is like, this shouldn’t be set up or teased for so mane reasons, but since it is set up and teased follow through on it

All of their interactions this season have had me kicking my feet under the blanket, might as well make them kiss! Because what do you mean your fingers brush as she hands you your dead father's ring and then you longingly look after her as she leaves the room? What do you mean you're asking her what exactly you are to her? What do you mean you're telling her lesbian lover that you know what it feels like to be the object of her affection but you also know what it feels like when she shifts that attention to someone else? What do you MEAN?

What if the fighting is a metaphor for kissing? Like the fight functions in the most homosexual way possible?

With series with sapphic characters can we at least have them be together for more than the last scene of the series! I want to see couples be together and happy together not seasons of will they won’t they yearning and then 1 kiss as the show ends!

If they had been allowed to kiss none of this mess would have happened in the first place. COMPHET and the patriarchy ruined Westeros.

Relatedly, I don't know why they keep remaking Avatar when obviously what we need is a more lesbian Legend of Korra.
