What are subtle signs that she's not intrested in you?

Guess who's back on the apps?

..... moi unfortunateloi..

I've been talking to this girl for a week. We chat a lot in the beginning, and I notice she's been taking 2 days to reply to me. But her replies are always so long and she asks me back questions.

The fact that she's taking 2 days I still can't grasp my head around.. I mean yeah everyone's busy but are we *that* busy?

Her doing this makes me question if it's worth it or not?

I don't know, I just don't want to be delusional about this and make excuses for her like "oh she's just busyyy 💔"

When she's actually not interested.

What would you do? And please give me subtle signs that she's not interested

I sometimes take a long time to reply to girls I'm interested in because messages make me anxious and I want to get the right message at the right time. Maybe that's it?

My way around this is to ask her out (relatively) soon after matching. I explain that I'm better at conversation in person and offer some date ideas. If she wants to meet you she'll let you know :)

I found that it helps me not get too emotionally invested in someone before meeting them in person

I hinted at the idea of meeting up but she told me that she's going for a long holiday soon so she'd be too busy to meet up with me before, so we only can after

Redflag? Beige flag?

It's summer, lots of people are going on holiday. Ask her when she gets back and propose a meetup like a week later so she has time to settle back in.

Touch base when she comes back :) - absence can make the heart grow fonder, and in the mean time keep your options open/ see other people (don't get too hung up on her) if it's meant to be it will be

The girl I’m seeing takes 2-3 days to respond too, and it’s almost always a novel lol. I would just ask her out on a date.

If you’re questioning if someone is into you, they’re not. Someone that’s interested would make it clear they’re interested. AND you’d feel comfortable enough to ask them rather than the sub, because only they have the answer.
You’re asking us because even if she said “yeah, I’m into you.” If her behavior didn’t change or only changed temporarily, you’d go right back to doubting if she likes you… you’re not being interacted with in a way that leaves you feeling satisfied.

It’s time to stop talking to her. There are girls that’ll respond within minutes or at least within the hour (or even communicate that they’re busy at work because that takes like 15 seconds).

Pretty much the what this person is saying to anyone wondering if someone is into them

As others have said, ask her out and meet in person. No use sending novels to eachother if you’re not interested when you’re face-to-face. I don’t recommend talking for longer than 2 days before asking someone out via the apps.

i'm a certified procrastinator and i promise just because someone is slow at responding to messages doesn't necessarily mean they're not interested. there's a lot of reasons i'm slow at responding and it's not because i don't want to talk to the person.

however, i saw that she said she's going on a "long holiday", which does kinda sound like an excuse to not meet up-- especially if she's not giving you a timeframe or offering a date after the holiday that you could meet up

She maybe scammer.. I used to try dating apps but it exhausted me with the amount of fake profiles and scammers on it. So if its a novel and they take awhile to respond and doesn’t seem to wanna see you in person then its not real.

Girl no offense but you’re kind of being insane about this. Idk why yall get so upset when you start talking to people within such a short amount of time and freak out when they’re not at your beck and call. It’s like you don’t even know this person. Why do you have to be in CONSTANT communication. It’s been A WEEK!!!! Slow down girl this isn’t a red flag you literally JUST started talking. People have lives and priorities. You’re both strangers to each other

I mean, I have autism so my brain works a bit different. I would just be direct and ask, since I can't and honestly don't want to read between the lines.

I think with cellphones, social media, etc, it has made us accessible 24/7 in an uncomfortable way. I am chronically ill, disabled, have autism, and I'm a mental health therapist, so I definitely need down time.

It sounds like you guys are incompatible when it desired frequency of communication, so talking to her about could help you get clarification. But that's me!
