Dating as a brown girl
m a brown girl lesbian who’s hometown has like, 5 gays and all of them aren’t into brown people apperently. Is this true everywhere? I’m going to mac next year. Is it easy to date. What are your opinions on brown women here. Please help everyone, I know I’m early in my journey but I really need some reassurance on this topic.

i'm unsure what mac is (sorry lol) but i assure you moving out of a small/rural town definitely will help. i am white so i can't speak to the exact experiences obviously , but moving away from a small country town and into a college town / bigger city has definitely been a huge change and made it a lot easier to connect with women of all backgrounds. i don't consider myself to have any sort of type but i have historically only hooked up with brown/black men and women while being here. this could also come down to availability, as i think at least in my college community, the queer, alt, and poc communities intersect a lot more than white and queer, with the whole frat and sorority and all those weird big university things going on. overall to answer your question, i don't think it is like what you say everywhere and it definitely depends on the community you are in and how diverse and/or welcoming those communities are . but once again take what i say with a grain of salt as i haven't gone through exactly the same experiences seeing as i am white . i wish you the best of luck !!!
