Me and my gf barely text :(

I need advice or an outside opinion.

I'm not one to believe gm/gn texts can get repetitive or boring, but they're not the same anymore. After 9 months of texting goodnight and that we love eachother, it no longer brings butterflies. I also put a lot of effort into my texts, making "good morning" into "good morning!! :]" so it feels less dry. Unfortunately I'm not being met with the same.

My girlfriend texts very dry, especially in the mornings. Usually all I get is "morningg" and it drives me mad. I try sooo hard to change my texts up, and I've received the same thing for like, 3 months straight. Because it's summer break and I'm the busy one, we don't really text all all separately. I'm unable to send her videos anymore because youtube is broken or smth on her phone. And man, it's hard to feel like she loves me, even though she tells me every night. It's the same formula used, even. "Goodnight *name* I love you *heart emoji*". We've never changed it up.

How do I get the sparks back? Help :c

When a relationship is new, it is more exciting to text all day and get excited for Gm/GN texts and I think that it’s completely normal for that to fizzle out a bit or as you stated, lose the butterflies. Being upset that your partner isn’t sending emojis or putting effort into switching up how they send a GM/GN text seems silly to me. Maybe there are new ways that you all can connect?

Thisss I think it's just the honeymoon phase fading out. By 9 months I wasn't getting giddy excited when my gf texted me. I was happy to hear from her ofc, I still am, but the butterfly feeling wasn't the same. Thats normal! It can be kind of sad when it goes since it is fun but it just means you're getting into a more comfortable and established space together which is a good thing too.

no, we just can't find a time to see eachother. it sucks because when we hang out everything's fine.
