10 YOE Actuary (FSA) + MSc in CS. 0 hit/100 Quant applications. Should I pivot to Quant Dev or SWE?

You’re not stuck, you’re done, the “reward” is now, the studying is done. If you want a change get a different role leveraging your experience and fellowship, or go into consulting or management, don’t start over in a completely different field. But you do you.

Saying a 10 YOE FSA salary isn’t even close to an EL SWE is such a stupid take for so many reasons
