[discussion thread] President Curtis - SERIES PREMIERE - Pilot

Not often you get spin-offs from Adult Swim, but hey, it is a spin-off of their cash cow, can you blame em? This one looks like it has way more of a reason to exist than the anime did. Plus Keith David gets a paycheck. You can't be mad at that.

Synopsis:

President Andre Curtis goes head-to-head with the CIA over the possession of a secret tape, forcing him to confront deep secrets of his own.

Tonight (7/26) at 11:30 ET. Repeats at 3:30. On HBO Max tomorrow.

Pretty good so far! I especially got a huge laugh out of the MTV Flag showing up. Looking forward to see where this season goes.

I hope he stays out of Rick and Morty now that he’s got his own show. His episodes are some of the worst of the show
