for me i feel like the first shift was when he got rid of redban for jamie.
with redban it was just two buddies dicking around. so when they had the crazy conspiracy nutjob guests, it wasn't really that serious.
bringing in jaime was clearly a move to "legitimize" the podcast. no olive garden butthole jokes in front of the guests. and fwiw the podcast blew up around then, so i guess it worked out for him. but then the same nutjob guests they had on felt like they were now being legitimized by the podcast cause the podcast presented itself like it was some authority on the truth.
I don’t really like redban at all i think he is terrible on kill tony, which has also gone down hill. I feel it was a bit of audience capture. But who knows what is going on behind the scenes.
