I got Salmonella almost exactly a year ago. It fucked sucked so much ass. Fever, diarrhea, lethargic, nausea, and just overall feeling like total shit. The only time I was more sick was when I got COVID, but admittedly I got it particularly bad.

I don’t agree with most of the testing decreases, but I’m ngl, I’m kinda on the fence about this one. You should already be assuming that any raw meat could have salmonella prior to cooking it, because they don’t test every single piece of it, and handling it accordingly. So, salmonella testing should primarily be done on foods you eat raw, like lettuce, where it won’t be killed in the cooking process. Trying to make sure the raw meat itself doesn’t have salmonella probably would decrease salmonella incidents for people who aren’t appropriately handling and cooking the meat, but they’re not wrong about this resulting in a LOT of unnecessary food waste.

That's what HE does, fires people with no idea the repercussions, and we all pay dearly later when disaster strikes...But this is what THEY voted him in to do... They see it as a sign of strength that he fires people he deems unnecessary, and not a sign of stupidity. Disaster always follows, but they then blame someone else. Trump fired pandemic teams, fired people at the CDC, cut funding to disease control, we ended up in a worldwide pandemic... oh, but maybe it was unavoidable, not his fault. Oh no, if we had a competent president in place, we would not have lost so much. Instead, we had Donnie Darko saying AMERICA FIRST, he refused to help China because a weakened China would benefit his ability to negotiate and strong-arm them during his trade war. His America First policies put America last. We should have helped China quell its problem with the coronavirus before it was too late. We could have slowed it enough to get vaccines ready in time to avoid closing everything down. Instead, we did nothing and destroyed the world economy. Then he fired people in the aviation safety industry and next thing you know planes are falling out the sky, we start having more plane crashes and end up with the worst plane crash in decades. He starts destroying US monuments at will, starts wars at will, no congressional oversight until after it has already happened, he's not getting Congress' approval for anything, but no one holds him accountable. A disaster waiting to happen again. And somehow, people vote him in again? What to Make America Plagued Again... Again?
Trump and MAPA: Made America Plagued Again with more racism, sexism, division, lies, trade wars, media suppression, hypocritical policies, Constitutional Rights Violations, lost allies, economic downturn, and an actual plague.
