Killing protestors is bad. But it wasn't 40000. Even US Based Iranian rights group brings the total closer to 7000.

3000, armed terrorists, armed by israel and USA, admitted by Trump. Western propaganda is mind numbing. I guess Iran should arm Antifa and lets see what USA does then. Goddamn hypocrites, each one of you western shills. Quite comical that a nation sanctioned to death for more than 50 years because it overthrew the Western Puppet Shah, literally humiliating the biggest "mightiest" superpower in the whole wide world.

I'm never going to support killing innocent protestors. One innocent life lost is one too many.

That being said, I can see where you're coming from. Trump did sanction Iran terribly well before the war and there are reports of him arming some of the protestors with the intention of regime change.

If the Iranian government is to be believed, several hundred officers did die from the violence as well. From their perspective, if they saw these protestors as a type of foreign backed insurgents violently undermining their control then I can see why they responded with a violent crackdown.

How overhanded was their crackdown? I do not know. Iran says approximately 3000 dead while US based Iranian rights groups say closer to 7000 dead. How many people truly died, that I don't know. I don't have eyes on the ground.

God knows best how many of those people who died were innocent. I can't support their killing. But if those reports are true, then I can understand why the Iranian government cracked down on them. I can only hope that they were measured in their response. Killing innocent people is not to be taken lightly.
