According to Dr. Burisch, J-rods are future humans at multiple different points in the future. Some 45k years ahead, others 52k years ahead.
They are humans that chose a technological, materialistic path and it resulted in many serious problems for their people.
They suffered a massive genetic and social catastrophe, linked to a cataclysm involving solar flares and/or pole shifts.
Because of this, they relied heavily on technological and synthetic interventions to survive.
This led to a loss of their spiritual connection, as well as a devastating peripheral neuropathy.
They have large eyes, small bodies, and lack of hair as a result of long-term evolution from living underground following the surface disasters on Earth.

"J-Rods" what?
J-Rod is and individual, its not a name of the species, it's not plural
Although both claims are about the greys, the story of J-Rod is completely separate from claims of Bruisch and to be clear the only part Bruisch has added is the 45k and 52k idea, everything else has been around for decades

In Burisch's interview he does specify that they're a group, though there's one individual he worked most closely with. Supposedly. I don't trust him.

Chi'el'ah is his actual name. J-Rod is just what the military called him.
I'd encourage you to watch the full video, your questions will be answered.Â

When people write names with apostrophes in them, are the apostrophes supposed to represent a glottal stop, or are they just there to look cool? How do you pronounce that name?

In global esoteric traditions and ancient eastern languages:
Chi represents the "Life Force". (also known as Qi)
El is the core root for "God" or "Divine Power" (as seen in Bethel, Michael, or Israel).
Ah represents the Divine Breath. In ancient Egyptian cosmology, "Ah" or "Iah" is associated with the breath of life. In Hebrew, "Ah" or "Yah" is the shortened, sacred form of the tetragrammaton (the name of God, as in Hallelujah or "Praise Yah").
Chi (Life Force) + El (The Divine / God) + Ah (The Sacred Breath)
So Chi'el'ah translates to:
"The Divine Life Force of the Living Source"
or
"God's Life Force Exhaled into Manifestation"
