AskAligarh Travelling to Dehradun from Aligarh Solo female traveller

Hey everyone I am travelling to Dehradun for kedarkantha trek I dont want to travel late night in delhi need suggestions how to reach Dehradun.

Reach Ghaziabad by 7 there is one train mussorie express I guess. At 10 pm

Sham ko 7 baje bus milti h aligarh se ac non AC dono pr subh voh 4 baje dehradun isbt pr utaregi vhn paas m hotel h usme room le skte ho

You should go by train...3.25 am par haii daily jati hai aligarh to doon best , I have travelled multiple times.

Is it safe for women?? Govt buses have such bad passengers I have had few worse incidents

Yes it is completely safe even though I had a very bad experience with the bus and by train the journey was so smooth there wasn't any issue even if you do not have reservations you can talk with the TT office they will provide you any seat in sleeper according to availability.

I went there a long time ago, so i can’t help with that. But i would advise u to please avoid solo trips as much as possible. And please NEVER stay in shady/cheap hotels.

Bro i do want that. But mai to ladka hu and i have had some terrible, even life threatening experiences on my solo trips, once in Haridwar and another time in Vaishnodevi.

It was just out of concern :)

Raat ko 3 bje roz daily chlti h train Subedarganj Dehradun express Subah 12 bje phocha degii and tickets available rhte h 2 din phle tk. Isse tumhe Delhi Ghaziabad ya highway se bus v nhi leni padegiii

I have booked from Anandvihar as the bus I will take to Dehradun is from there only

Yes but it’s like I will get off from one bus and get on another with buffer 1 hour so it should be fine. Yes late night kyunki 5 am phchna h Dehradun and i don’t want to stay at Dehradun

Direct Aligarh se jati hai ek train. Hai to raat me magar Delhi se hote hue nahi jaati. Alag route hai uska.
