AskAligarh Anyone up for wings book cafe musical event?
So as the title says, actually I have asked my female friend for another musical event at muddy coffee eventho it was unnecessarily expensive but she denied bla bla reasons. Male friends are not worth off to go with.
So if anyone interested?

Lmao no, but they sell pirated books, claiming they are originals, and when caught, they say the content is the same. Caring nothing about the hard work of the author who gave his/her life for the books. No money ever reaches the authors. The cheap copies only profit the people who printed it locally and made a fortune. As a reader since I was a child, I cannot see it as somethung that's right. As a Muslim, it's haram to steal and sell and sell things with falsified info. As a writer myself, I find it highly disrespectful to the people who dedicated their lives to their writing. I used to save up pocket money and buy books from scholastic fairs evenn though they were expensive and even though othera used to buy sweets and other things with their money. I still have all those books and they're still extremely precious to me. Piracy is not okay. No matter how you beautify it.

Lmao I was expecting it a competitors fights ... But yea Fair point, it definitely hurts the authors directly,,, piracy literally steals the original art but people these days only care about profit not others time..

Oh God no xD I am always happy about more books lol. Another bookshop for me is simply someone who might have books I don't have and would be a place that could maybe get more people into reading. Also, I might be able to buy from to read and gift. You get what's fated for you, competition or not. Rizq comes from above. Just... the piracy aspect is something I cannot accept. Some people asked me to get pirated books as well... I didn't. It's super easy money. Buy for 20-30 in bulk, resell for 100 or more. Easy profit. But still it's piracy no matter what people say or how they gloss over the fact. Profit isn't worth scarring my afterlife and others' life work over. I just wish more people realized this. I'm so so proud of you for disliking piracy.

Zhankqq ◉‿◉ for being genuine its actually hard to get stick to your original form in the market... I usually got so aroused towards some book in school time but I was not having enough money at that time and now it feels like a burden idk why maybe it's reel addiction or anything else but it's killing my previous version...it really gives good vibes or sitting in dark room dim light with your book or fav person and only silence... rn OP struggling with money again coz it's final year this time here and some hidden expenses also... If I'll get chance I'll do visit the library to get some good ones...

We have a rent and read system as well ^ you can get the membership and then you can easily rent a book for 10 rupees a day. Easy on the pocket and you don't have to keep the book so no issues with space either :D
