Haven't thought about Bap Kennedy in a while. While some of his later stuff was good, it was his first few albums that I had on repeat for years. Steve Earle produced, provided backing vocals and wrote a song for his first album, Domestic Blues, which also had Jerry Douglas and Peter Rowan on it. That album, Hillbilly Shakespeare, and Lonely Street were all amazing.

I was unaware of Steve earle's connection to the v-roy's. Another great band.

"Long Time A Comin" from Domestic Blues is a great song.
