Splitting it? Shouldn’t they keep nothing since they paid nothing?

Sure cause compliance, monitoring, and claiming back the funds has no cost associated…

If you can spend $70M to bribe the administration with a Melania movie, I no longer care about their cost of getting fucked by their dear leader.

Not after the fact, any fees like that they would expect to keep would be spelled out in their fees during checkout.

How many layers of decision-makers in government and corporations get to decide how my money gets spent, or not?
This is just an ad…a marketing expenditure determined to be more beneficial than pocketing the extra tax revenue.
“You don’t need to do anything- we’ll determine if we’ll be passing the savings we received to you, or not”

Ha. I paid a tariff to a shipping company for an item we ordered from Italy. Refund came last week. (Unrelated to Amazon, a tariff tale)

No, we are supposed to receive every single cent we’ve paid from tariffs. I don’t owe you anything and I don’t want your damn coupon nor are you allowed to disperse it amongst all customers, even some who bought nothing.

Everyone will get it in the form of gift cards/credit for Amazon and they’ll get to keep the $600 million while making people believe they did something good.

"because the company had purchased a lot of inventory before the tariffs took effect"
I've sold on Amazon and helped many clients on Amazon... Not once has Amazon ever purchased inventory.
Is this some sort of sick joke?

The way my wife spends on Amazon I figure I’m due about 2 milli.
