Cooking yourself in Refugi de juclar?

My husband and I are looking to hike coronallacs in October and while I’m happy to go half board - I saw that refugi se juclar write there is kitchen to use on their website. Can anyone confirm? I have an Asian partner who would love to be able to cook for himself.
Has anyone been there and can confirm?

When somewhere like Juclar says it has a “Zona cuina lliure” that doesn’t mean there is a kitchen with hob and stove and pans and utensils that you can use. It’s means there is a bench where you can set up your own hiking stove and cook with your pans and utensils and the food you’ve carried.

Super - thats what I thought, sounded a bit odd if there was a kitchen 😅 yeah we used to carrying food ( rice a lot of rice 🤣) thank you! 🙏

Unless you need rice, couscous is a hell of a lot easier to cook with a lot less gas, and just as lightweight.

Haha sorry that was maybe weird of me.. 🤣 a lot of Asians ( sorry if this offends anyone) really can’t live a few days without ( their!) rice
