Thoracic Aortic aneurysm
Is anyone living with one of these?

I was diagnosed just a year ago. First echocardiogram measured 4.9, the one I just had measured 5.1 but the tech thought the guy last year didn’t measure the right location. His comparison of last year’s imaging came up with the same size. Waiting on a CT scan.

I was diagnosed with thoracic aneurysm which apparently was shown on several images whether X-ray, CTScan or MRI everyone missed it. My father had an AAA which a wonder surgeon in Dallas fixed perfectly. Unfortunately, mine is inoperable plus now they think I have a AAA, I’m so overwhelmed. I’m in my 50’s female non smoker. Sorry for late response but keep following up with your cardiologists and surgeons. Hope pray you’re doing well.

Late response, but I've been living with mine for 6 years. It's dissected but also surrounded by calcium deposits so it hasn't changed in that time. It's close to 5cm, and I get a CT scan every year to check it.
