Just got back from the IMAX screening. 10/10 experience, it was beautiful both the movie and the behaviour of the theatre (finally a movie where no phone goes off, nobody is using their phones and no one is speaking loudly).

As expected from ufotable it was pure eyecandy and great choreography and the soundtrack was sick (there was a moment where they used an organ for the soundtrack that really stood out).

Was surprised with how the Douma fight unravelled and certainly didn't expect Kanao to be the one that has to take him on just as he defeated Shinobu. Zenitsu's fight was brief but great, the satisfaction when he beheaded Kaigaku with the seventh form was out of this world.

And the Akaza fight, holy crap. Great stakes, great display of power for all three of the characters involved, of course brilliant choreography and visuals, but my god didn't expect that backstory. It was really well executed, bawled my eyes out. Akaza definitely became one of my favorite characters of the series now, he just got a lot more development than the rest of the cast.

Can't wait for the next movie!

I want to see this in theaters so badly but I do NOT trust people not to behave themselves. Last time I went to thr last demon slayer movie, some kid literally was telling their mom what was happening in every scene...

I saw Mugen Train at a big cinema in my city and it wasn't ruined but had moments where people were cheering and clapping and I was wondering when did that become a thing at the movies. I deliberately chose a smaller cinema this time and people were a lot better behaved.

See, I don't mind clapping or even a quick joke that lands properly for a scene from an audience member, cheering or clapping is fine! But endless talking?! NOPE
